That number is messed up
It seems to account for ALL tiers, basically merging T1, 2 and 3
But I could be wrong. That said... sometimes you really need to wonder why it says 115 playing and you wait like 20 minutes just for a T2 game

Coatl T1 is alive and a few
Coatl T1 is alive and a few people are working very hard to make it as active as the other tiers. I am able to play T1 at almost any time because my full friends list is T1 lockdowners. Also, when you play, you will find most in the room are quite competent players that most likely are tier 3 with a few protos mixed in. T1 is great fun and I suggest everyone should try it. I'll cya in T1 ;)

Definitely not dead
It's definitely more active than people think (Golza is making it so) and as Pballs said there are also many more 5* players in t1 LD than people think.
I rarely ever have trouble joining t1 LD, and when I do there's always at least one person from Golza in there (2+ lately).
It does depend on the time of day though, but I also often see shout outs to join t1 LD in zone chat by some of the members so maybe watch out for those?

Whisper to me that T1 is on and I'll drop fighting vanaduke for it. Or drop vana himself... whichever could occur first.
Golza's a guild made full of alts for t1 vets and players... just message a member in there and your challenge will be accepted gladly.

I saw...
I saw you mention lagging problems in T3 on another thread coatl, I'd suggest T1 lockdown as a remedy to that, as I have a mac that loves to lag as well. However, T1 is manageable, and like the two above me, and trying, I have many friends who play T1 if mentioned and I can generally get enough people for a game just asking around. You are welcome to message me (or oballs [my Golza alt]) if you want to attempt to get a game started :) We'd love to expand our small empire!

Love T1 LD
We are doing our best to grow the sport, and while it seems to be more prevalent in the evening EST, the games are fantastic! You can also message myself, lycheesoup, tdlob and a slew of others if you want to get some t1 going. A good portion of the night's watch is now playing t1 LD casually, and those of us who are more into it have alts in Golza as well.
