I am a pure swordsman (Ascended Calibur/Vile Striker) and I want to know if there is an alternative to the Wolver series for swordsmen.

Here are some alternatives:

Chaos Set (+med CTR and damage)
Fallen Set (+med ASI, -VH fiend)
Heavenly Iron (+med fiend, +med sword damage)

Or if you really want damage (skolver alternative), you can use sets that just give you VH damage vs whatever monsters you're fighting. It's more costly, but does the same thing, minus piercing defense.

Of all these, Chaos is probably my favorite, but your sword set might not be very CTR oriented (it's great with DA/Troika lines though!).
Fallen+Swiftstrike is enough to take you to ultra ASI.

Seiran laid out all three options. That's simply it. But keep in mind that you can wear other armor over Wolver armor, as a costume. Good luck.
