Ancient Plate Set.
This way, you will no longer be able to charge ahead of the crowd, thus solving your predicament right there.

Thanks to all the others who I (basically) stole ideas from.
Two Elite Boom modules.
Mercurial Demo set (if possible)
RSS/Nitro/Graviton vortex/Haze bomb (of choice, but the Stun isn't bad against Strikers), or other preferred bombs.
Recon module.
All bombs fully heated.
Result?
Bomb CTR max on all.
Bomb damage bonus Max.
MSI med (makes you go at walking speed while charging your RSS)
Shock/Ele resist (No more Trollaris interrupts, and you don't die as much to the DA).

PvE only:
Get a vortex or
PvE only:
Get a vortex or haze bomb. Ash of Agni/Electron Vortex are great; Voltaic Tempest/Graviton Vortex/RSS are good, Stagger Storm/Venom Veiler are situational. For a sword, try a cutter, because that cleaves through obstacles really quickly, and you can attack-move pretty well.
Most weapons work just fine with low stars, but vortexes increase in utility dramatically at higher stars.
If you're running specific levels, this is what I suggest:
RJP: Fire bomb, shadow sword
IMF: striker, heavy sword
FSC: brandish, electron vortex, shivermist

No, not graviton vortex. Do Electron Vortex, because with the shock possibility, you reduce the danger of scattering them all over. And derp them up a bit. So when you're all charged up there alone on solo, you're just that much safer.

Why'd you list RSS with haze and vortex bombs? RSS stands alone! Just get that! Then worry about haze and vortex. I'd do Voltaic Tempest over Ash of Agni myself. Granted you could just get them all, but I would priotize VT because of the crowd control shock.
We all know the actual Leeroy Jenkins would have lived if he hadn't forgotten one thing.
Anyway, I'd recommend DBB, DR, RSS, and Vortex. Because if you've got them all in a Vortex by the time your party catches up, they will love you for it. DBB, DR, and RSS are all incredibly awesome, and RSS will hit turrets for you.
A full Mad Bomber suit, if you can take the statuses, is an effective armor set to pair with this loadout. Add an elite Damage Trinky, a Penta-Heart, and a good strong shield, and you're set!
