More Combat Options?

Not sure if this thread was made, I highly doubt it. I didn't bother to look, but anyways:
So, this is something OOO is working on for SK. What are your thoughts on what it would be? I heard dual-wielding, but that sounds lame in my opinion, and would probably be very complicated to use depending on how they do it... (But, it's just THEIR thought, I don't think it's true. :p) I'm not really sure what to say, and I am really curious about what they are working on. Maybe we'll get special attacks? Maybe we'll get skills depending on the class weapon we are wearing? They said it will be an explosive update, so I expect a REALLY AWESOME update, and not a lame one.

Maybe they'll be restoring non-charge bomb attacks to the game.

That aside, this better be good and soon.

Dual welding could be pretty usefull in some ways. Imagine Grand Faust and Divine Avenger together! Light and Dark! Also, (For stratigec (Grrrr.... and this my friends is why i dont do spelling bees!) ^players,) Dual Gun and Sword combo might add an interesting variation of player type!

Well, the way I picture it is to be very complicated, and if it's not complicated, it might even be over-powered. Another reason: What if you have a Flourish in 1 hand and a Divine Avenger in the other? I can only picture it being over-powered in combat I just don't know how it would work, and I highly doubt it is dual-wielding. :p Imagine wielding two bombs, Gun/bomb, Sword/Bomb, etc. o.o Would be kind of weird.

On the subject of dual wielding, I'll assume there would be some kinds of limits, although I have no idea what that could be.
in theory, you are sacrificing you shield for more firepower, so I guess it could be considered a decent trade-off. Although if it would be let let into LD, All hell would break lose, lol.
maybe dual wield would be restricted to the same "style" of weapon? By style I mean like one could only dual wield a flourish with another sword similar to flourish(Rigdaggod,flamberge, etc,), heavy swords can only be paired with other heavy swords(DA, GF, Triglav, sudaruska, etc) (if at all), normal speed sword paired with other normal speed swords (Levi blade, Brandish lines, etc.)
Maybe they'll release specific weapons for dual wield instead, I really don't know.

Think about it.. How the hell can it really work?
Without dual wield you can simply hit/switch weapon/hit. So, unless you swing with both hands at once, sacrificing your shield for such thing is dumb.
Sounds ok with guns, but thats it.
There's also the fact that one DA/GF combo, combined with proper bonus from gear (ie skolver) can already kill most enemies (even on a full party, i woudlnt go as far as 5 hits). Who needs more power than that? It'd be overkill and unnecesary.

I think the idea IS to swing both hands at once. Without the sheild, the property of the X key would go to the second weapon. Welcome to the land of button smashing Z and X, lol. I do honestly think that if it is implemented, it would be the most efficient with guns. Guess that would give gunners that damage boost that they need.
