Proper english may help.

People will take you more seriously, you may get more friends. Those friends will play with you and help you win money faster.

play in parties, in lucrative areas

Play in parties rather than solo. Don't revive using energy; let your teammates revive you.

If working the Clockworks, aim for Stratum 6 (which you probably can't reach) or Stratum 4, in particular the Royal Jelly Palace or the Ironclaw Munitiions Factory. If CE prices get much higher, then skip the Royal Jelly level itself, unless your teammates are counting on you; it's barely worth the energy cost as it is. Also try to find strata with two arenas. Learn how to read the gate map, and wait for gate changes that bring arenas up.

How to get your crap fast.

1. First join a guild. If you need a temporary/permanent guild to join, talk to me and I'll invite you to one that focuses on helping others.
2. Make friends by being awesome. Begging and random friend requests are barely any good in the long run. Actually socialize with people, I do this by joining random parties or hanging out in haven and butting my way into conversations.
3. Use these friends and guildies to run boss runs and arcade runs with. By playing with people you know, you'll have more fun and it'll turn out to be a lot easier.
4. Missions are main priority, do them until you hit a HoH you can't pass. These missions not only give you rewards for the vanilla set but they also help you familiarize yourself with the game and access shortcuts to all of the bosses.
5. Tokens are godly. Many boss weapons are incredibly useful or cheap for their star. Brute Jellymail is only is only 150 mist each if you don't die any during full Royal Jelly runs and Ancient plate set is 400 mist per piece taking a minimum of 40mist per every 3 tokens (Assuming you join a party on depth 25 and die none.)
6. Sell mats on AH, not to people buying them in Haven. These guys are usually buying low and reselling them on AH, always check the lowest buy price on the Auction House before buying or selling anything.
7. Don't die. You can do three T2 Boss runs a day if you so wish and that'll get you about 7000-8000 crowns plus 9+ tokens for whatever the heck you want.
8. Save up your crowns and use mist to craft. 300CE only takes about 3-4 days to save up if you vendor your stuff bought with the Jelly tokens, that means that you can get at least one 4star piece each week if you and your guildies are good enough. It just takes patience, skill, and good friends.

Money: an alternative to friends

General rule of SK and RL finance: never spend all of your money, always have enough wealth saved up so that you can re-invest.

In the Clockworks, it's recipes. Save up enough crowns so that if you see a recipe on Basil that can't be found in the HoH, you can Just Buy It, and turn it around on the Auction House for a profit. It's rightfully part of your reward.

On slow days, it's Weapon Slot Upgrades. They are always in demand, and you can buy them from the mission screen with energy. 500CE buys two, which works out to about 20k crowns each, depending on the price of energy. This is what they sell for in the Auction House- never more, not usually much less. However, if you buy them with Mist Energy over the course of two days, you can get two weapon slot upgrades for 300 CE, or about 12k each.

On a day when you don't have time to play, log in, spend 100 Mist and 150 Crystal Energy on a Weapon Slot Upgrade, put it up for auction over 24 hours, and then log out. You've essentially converted your Mist Energy directly to crowns, at zero risk and minimal effort, for a little under the current trading price of CE. (Which is by definition the amount of crowns that the average high-end player thinks they can get for their time and energy, but that's a whole other thing)

I agree with Tiasthyr for the recipe thing. You should play T2 arcade runs and ONLY buy recipes like : Kilowatt Pulsar, Twisted Targe and Twisted Snarble Barbs. These recipes give you profit above 6kcr. You would buy these recipes for 4,000cr and sell them for 10,000cr or if there are any cheaper buy prices in the AH make your recipe possibly the lowest price with the difference of 500cr or 1000cr. This will boost your money income without wasting tons of ce and time of doing boss runs. You will need luck for this because sometimes you get useless stuff that are in the HoH.

That way would be significantly more profitable

But then you wouldn't get to die as much.

Token rewards...

I have a quick question about selling token rewards. Token rewards are bound to you once you get them, correct? That means I have to pay energy to unbind them, right?

Yes, all token rewards are

Yes, all token rewards are given bound. However, they're nice for being free. That's what's nice about JK: you can use jelly tokens to get any desired equipment type, except bombs, which are honestly not essential.

If you get some good friends, you can tag along on FSC runs. Getting 30-40 Almirian Seals and getting a free piece of 5* gear really helps, even if it gives you negative effects.

can instead sell to vendors, or get materials

"Token rewards are bound to you once you get them, correct? That means I have to pay energy to unbind them, right?"

You have to unbind them to sell them to other players. But you don't need to unbind them to sell them to vendors, which is another (much easier) way to get a little money. So, for example, here is how you turn boss victories into crowns through vendors:

* Beat Snarbolax 3.3 times to get 10 Frumious Fangs. Trade these for a 2-star item, and sell that to a vendor for 750 crowns. That's 225 crowns per victory --- not enough to cover the energy cost.

* Beat Roarmulus Twins 6.7 times, get 20 Bark Modules, get a 3-star item, get 3,500 crowns. That's 525 crowns per victory --- almost cost-effective. (Trading for 2-star items is much worse: 150 crowns per victory.)

* Beat Royal Jelly 5 times, get 15 Jelly Gems, get a 3-star item, get 3,500 crowns. That's 700 crowns per victory --- borderline cost-effective.

* Beat Vanaduke 10 times, get a 5-star item, get 30,000 crowns. That's 3,000 crowns per victory --- nice.

Another method is to trade tokens for materials, which don't need to be unbound, to be sold to other players. Some of these materials (Spark of Life?) are pretty hard to get otherwise, so they can command decent prices. But I haven't checked prices recently.

Thank you for the responses!

Thank you for the responses! Would you recommend selling token rewards to vendors or in the AH (after unbinding them)? Obviously the latter would take more time, but would that be worth it? Or is it just a better idea to sell to the vendors.

Sometimes boss item rewards are worthwhile to sell on the AH... but at the same time, it's really easy to flood the market with them and dramatically lower their price.

BTW, don't unbind stuff you can normally craft (Brute Jelly Set)

""Beat Snarbolax 3.3..... what "3.3" means??""

Um, "Beat Snarbolax 3.3 times" means "beat the Snarbolax boss three and one-third times".

There is .3 because you

There is .3 because you sometimes get 4 tokens instead of the usual 3. You may also, if you're very lucky, get 5 tokens from a boss.

no

There is ".3" because you get 3 tokens per victory, but you need 10 tokens to get the reward item. So you need 10/3 = 3.3 victories to get the reward item. I was rounding, and I was ignoring those occasions when you get more than 3 or fewer than 3 tokens. I didn't expect the "3.3" to be so hard to understand.

off topic...

refer to the above selling token reward items, if i have a level 5 gear and i unbound it, will this thing drop back to level 1 or stay the same? since unbounding a 2 star gear is much cheaper

unbinding does not change star-level

You're talking about star-level, not heat-level, right? Unbinding an item does not change its star-level. If you unbind Divine Avenger, then you have an unbound Divine Avenger, not an unbound Sealed Sword.

Token Reward = Crowns

Token reward maybe bound to you when you get them but if you save enough (about 15 Jelly gems for example) you might get a 3* item if you sell this to a Vendor you will get about 750 - 3,500 crowns depending on the Gems you have and when you get to T3 you can get 10,000 crowns.
