Everybody is lagging absolute hell

I have just been playing LD, and as a bomber, I can say that lag is very very annoying. my frames freeze every second, and I was running into the other teams forcefield while they use sentenza to hit me! after the game finished, I realized that there were 6 leavers in the game of 12, all because of lag. I go out and check out hall of heroes which has absolutely nothing in it, yet I still lag into walls. not nearly as bad, but I lagged into the elevator. as I loaded, it said Mission Complete which was ok, but when I clicked "accept" the button just went in, but it was stuck in my screen. I pressed X to close spiral, and yet it wouldn't close. I had to use task manager to end the process, and even that took about a minute. FIX THE LAG PLEASE, it's pissing us all off.

Yep, my screen is freezing
Yep, my screen is freezing every few seconds. When I looked at my java.exe it was using 1.1M resources in fsc instead of the usual 700k. Needless to say my whole party was lagging but we finished it anyway then logged off until its fixed.

Yes we freeze for seconds in LD on both servers EU & US,then after i left to Haven couldn't chat coz of that freezing and then the whole game got freeze
Also friends playing Clockworks freeze

My lockdown match began- and ran for about a minute- before my waiting room screen had even finished downloading.

LD is unplayable for me
LD is unplayable for me now.
Ran into god knows how many fire pits and died.

Yeah the game is pretty much unplayable because of the lag. My lag starts building up until SK crashes, then it works fine again. Something is terribly wrong with the servers though, even while typing this post I am lagging :s

yeah. I just played a match of ld it was fine, I got 20k damage. and then the next match, I start bombing since I think theres no lag, then BOOM 0.5 fps or so. and when I rage quit to haven, it takes a minute to load. trying to go to town square, it's stuck at 87 now... and it wont close!!

I've been having brief freezes constantly recently. Also, it occasionally just completely dies and my performance becomes next to nothing; I'm getting a bunch of still shots in an unresponsive program.
Something I've noticed is that either the game or my computer has become incompetent at assigning tasks to different possessors; I have a quad core and one is often doing all the SK-related work.

You may wanna try and open up Task Manager, open up the processes tab, look for Java.exe and end the process (close SK first of course).
SK crashed on me and my laptop started running really slow, laggy mouse movement, etc. Opened up task manager and BOOM! Java was using up over 240 megs of memory =/

The term "Lag" is incorrect
The term "Lag" is incorrect it's a 'freezing' / 'Pausing' / 'stuttering' issue. Lag is more of a connection problem. (I've 4 bars on connection and it stays at that level even when it pauses)
The above builds up and gets worse and worse the longer you're in the game, and I've never seen it before on this system until this latest patch (other games are running fine so it's not system related).
It makes the game pretty unplayable as you're either dying because you've run into spikes, projectiles, etc... and haven't had a chance to react due to the pause or simply trying to use the Auction House / chatting results in key presses being slow to react and mistyping is all too easy.

yeah... its impossible to do LD for now + i wonder why the game just GAINED a bunch of memory usage. ive d/c'ed 8 times to date. XD is there an alternate temporary solution? cuz i cant play

The memory usage of SK keeps
The memory usage of SK keeps increasing the longer the game is running...meaning: after awhile it will be using too much memory for the computer to "tank" which will cause freezing and eventually crash
the people who are fine...either have super potent computers or were not affected by the patch for some reason
untill OOO fix this, restarting your game should give you a few minutes of lagless play untill it gets bad again...how many minutes depends on how good your computer is
