They no longer produce horse
They no longer produce horse sounds, or purple explosions on death. Oh and they seem slower.

For the longest time i thought that was the new slags....
Seriously, I havent used monster models in a while, I didn't know were to look, the broken one surprised me, yet i was convinced it was the new slags.... ERMAHGERD NOO CONFTENT!!!!!!!!!!

I like them. IDK what you guys are complaining about. They look awesome to me.
They are suppose to be previous Almirian Warriors. Before, they never really had anything tying them to their past, beyond the shield. Also, I like how the back is more of a cloak. Makes them seem more humanoid, and less monstrous.

OH yeah, im sure we wanted that change SO MUCH, it helped game so much and changed it. Its totally players dream come true. We dont need anything anymore, all we wanted was that slag guard change. We can rest in peace.

I hadn't seen them yet, but it's nice to see that they got them a bit farther away from looking like trojans.
If I had a nickel for every time I've gone down there and watched people switch to piercing weapons to attack them, not realizing that they're undead rather than fiends...
Nice design fix.

They have a new shoulder pad as well? Look on the spear-carrying arm.
Yep, that looks like soot-tarnished Almiran Crusader to me.
okay, so they have an awerness radius (a big circle around them) so (i guess) you know where they are and are able to spot them easier?
Their headpiece has Almirian Crusader Helm on it, or so I think they do from what i saw in my vana run
