Can you please put up a Flame Aura auction on the featured list that ends between 4:00pm and 10:00pm Eastern Standard Time. I have missed so many of these auctions due to classes and/or work, so I would like to ask this as a small favor. It doesn't need to be very soon that I'm asking this for, but simply some time in the near future. If you are reading this, thank you for your time.

To be honest, nowhere; Three Rings does not want to cater to personal requests and the community sees such requests as selfish. Waiting for the accessory to be available normally is the best way to find it without stepping on any toes.
I think the suggestion just needs to be changed from specific to a generalization.
A lot of featured items seem to go on at scheduled times - though I could be entirely wrong about that, but seeing the love puppy and trojan disguises make me confident of it though.
Asking for a randomization of those schedules or to implement multiple schedules based upon major Zones (NA, Euro, Asia/Aussie).
As things are now, the big ticket items go on rarely (which is good, I think), but as such will generally cater to a particular time zone.

This suggestion proposes Three Rings sets up an auction for one person for only six hours, when the auction for that sort of item lasts two days to allow bids to build up and therefore causing a crown sink to make CE less expensive, because that one person has activities to do outside the game; activities which seem to take up fourty-eight hours without any time to sit down to play the game.
To have the "rare" featured auction accessories available more often would mean they would have less value because there are more available. If these featured auctions were separated to occur for each time zone then there would be more chances to get whatever featured auction the individual seeks.

I wasn't suggesting that Lightyourfire's request be implemented as he specified. I was suggesting an alternative method whereby all players could benefit, and the OPs request might be able to come true. I reiterate this because you don't seem to understand what helping people is, or how to be productive.
You have treated Lightyourfire poorly, calling them selfish, using titles like "Derp", attempting to guilt trip, suggesting he's a cause for Admin rarity, you've attempted to speak on behalf of OOO, and you addressed yourself as "the community". This is all very poor mannered.

Lightyourfire has raised a good point. The end time of an auction is generally the only time when you'll actually have a chance to obtain the item you seek - people will often times hold out until the item is at 'very short' to put in a bid in an attempt to save money. This will favour a particular area - how might this be mitigated?
If for example 6 auras were put up for grabs in 24hr period with end times occurring every 4 hours, that would allow multiple time zones a very fair chance of obtaining one. Making a publicly available schedule so people can coordinate themselves around bidding would also be helpful.
You could maintain rarity by having the auctions occur 6 times less often, the cr sink would remain, and at worst CE prices would reach larger bubbles before the market pops. Though I remain skeptical regarding how much a few auras would effect the price of CE. Maybe 6 twilight auras...
Or, perhaps hot ticket items should last for much longer than 2 days. A week perhaps? This will ensure that all people with bidding capacity will have a chance, and that the last few bids at 'very short' will be less likely to decide a victor.
Also, Lug is pointing out several flaws. And he does suggest.

I do like the idea of going lockboxing though. Lightyourfire must be pretty rich if he thinks he can win a bid on the aura, so just spend that cash on lockboxes, silver keys, and start gambling. Auction off the items you don't want, or try to trade for the aura if you get something good.

His 'suggestion' was to add a new auction that would suit his 'needs', particularly the end time. Not a new feature, a new AUCTION. Like if I put another Wolver coat on the AH, except the discussed item is a Flame Aura.

So you're saying this is helping anything? Lug stated what the OP is doing that he/she shouldn't be doing and why, OP asked a question, Lug answered.

Lug did nothing of the sort. He said posts 'LIKE' these are why, because IF answered, WOULD be considered a way to ask admins for favours.
Also, Lug has been here long enough to judge the attitude of the Community in general, so making statements regarding general reception is allowed.

How you read that as telling him to quit posting I have no idea. That is clearly Lug telling him that there is nowhere he can ask OOO to put up an auction, NOT telling him to stop posting.

Unofficially, there is a vague sort. New posters tend to post any stray thought that comes to mind. Veteran posters can be more or less trusted to have thought out an idea when they posted it. Otherwise, things proceed normally.

The subjects for my posts are almost always a random noise, phrase, or silly nonsense which rolled out of my eyes for no significant reason other than to take up the space instead of letting the forum do it for me. There is no noble system, hierarchy, or comparison by the biggest hat. The problem is not with the individual, it is with what they are doing; response based on action. No, I am not nor pretend to be an administrator. I have taken it upon myself as a "civilian" in our community to go through what the real administrators are most likely going through to point out ones with merit and slap proposals which are wasting time. Administrators may spend less time going through everything and have more time to work on implementation. Like an unpaid secretary. All I need is a weird accent and giant glasses. To add being female here would be discriminatory so I will not. To add two and two equals four.
No, I am not mistreating anyone here. I can easily be far more malevolent to another user if I wanted to, but that would be counterproductive. Like smashing my face on this cushioned wall. If I had 38% more force I might be able to dent the wall underneath the pillowing, but I always end up drowsy after the sound of a short spritz when I attempt to do so. And then the staff try to poke me and I bite their fingers off and spit them in their faces.
No, administrators do not normally appear around here regardless; though they were slightly more active in the distant past. This may be due to the same responses people direct toward my responses, twisting words and changing their intent; people do it with our politicians, especially their own opponents.
