So I woke up this morning, and while I was eating breakfast I waited for the new patch update to download and install. I've always had bad luck with patches messing things up, but never on this large of a scale. After the patch installed and the game loaded, I decided to run the arcade with my sister. I am a t3 vanguard knight, but on occasion I like starting at depth 1 because it's fun beating the mobs senseless with over-powered gear, and walking across spikes because I seemingly have god-like powers and health. So my sister and I made our way down to level 4 or 5, can't remember exactly which depth, when we noticed that we were both having massive lag spikes occurring at random moments. One moment I'm stabbing a devilite with my BTB, then next moment I'm beating a wall senseless and I have somehow lost half of my life.

We decided to take a break from all the wonderful, joyous lag spikes, and we waited about 5 hours before giving SK another go. Deja vu is a harsh mistress. Made it to about the same level, in the same gate in the arcade, and things were going pretty smooth until we had the bright idea of entering the Danger Room of Death. We died thanks to the lag, which killed my pride being a t3 vanguard knight, since it was a t1 danger room. The next level wasn't much better, as we killed everything in a boss room then somehow died upon killing the lone howlitzer.

It seems to me, "patch" and "update" are just code words used in place of phrases like, "hey guys, check this [stuff] out! we've messed up more stuff!", and, "since we don't like to address ongoing issues, we've decided to add new features and fix pointless bugs of the past in the hopes of our players ignoring the things that continue to plague them.".... Is it just me, or has this patch been a COMPLETE fail?
