after the recent update all "OK" buttons were swapped into squares, just like typing chinese or japanese characters in game, this only happened to the "ok" button and sometimes while trading, i also noticed when u get the "server error" dialogue in chat box it only shows up squares instead of the actual english words (u can get this by mass dropping vials)

according to one of my friends in our chatgroup its bcuz my windows operating system is not english or the supported language, but in fact it is, well it was my mum who bought this laptop and set it to chinese but later on i changed it into english.

i also tried to find language settings in java, (control panel) but resulted in nothing.

this doesnt really effect game play but its just annoying to see so many weird squares.

Could be graphics card.

My friend had this glitch with other 3D games, it seemed to be his graphics card, and it was a huge glitch that would happen with textures after somthing happened. It's odd.

The squares were characters

The squares were characters SK wants to display, but your system did not have an appropriate font installed. Most likely those were Chinese characters.

It'd be strange that all other interface were in English but the OK button were in Chinese. I think your copy wasn't patched correctly, mixing up the resource files. Try reinstalling SK.

Also, Materialist, for your information: Java supports Internationalization (called i18n) since a very long time ago... it's SK that didn't, until now.
