Here it is:
> Turn your graphic low
> Compatibility on
> Render off
> Cull Transient on
> Anti aliasing x1
> Reduce the resolution! (Very important)
> Open task manager and find java.exe. Set it's priority to High. (Ultra important!)

Hope it helps. If this still doesn't fix it, you need a better internet connection. Move to General Discussion so everyone will read it.

Psst

It also helps if you have a good computer that can handle a horribly programmed java game. Oh wait only three people have those.

It'll reduce GRAPHICAL lag, but connection will still remain an issue.

Someone have no idea how

Someone have no idea how internet and computers work. As psychodestroyer said, it will only reduce the amount of freeze you encounter (which is NOT lag), because your graphic card have less work to do, so it can produce more frames per second.

The lag, which is the amount of time information takes to go from the server to your computer and the other way around, depends of your connection (how much time information takes from your computer to your ISP) and your distance from OOO server (time between your ISP and OOO server). The only 2 ways to improve that is to have a better connection (not always possible) or move closer to OOO server (lol, moving just for a game).

People in Australia or Asia have no way to reduce lag to manageable amount, sadly, unless OOO decides to create a server there.

I play at high quality just fine. Asides from the occasional hiccups where damage dealt to the enemy wasnt registered and my blaster went off like the 4th of July and me getting pulled back into hazards and such.

Why doesnt the lag ever stop the damage dealt to me? TT w TT

Reduce connection lag??

No it doesn't.

Your network card in your computer deals with the connection. Your GPU does the graphics.

Here is all I did!

All I did was go into Full Screen Mode and I haven't been getting a lot of lag (if not "at all"). I hope I've helped.

Move over, there's bubble-wrap to be popped!

Hello necrobumper. Thx for reviving a thread on how to reduce lag, and then use a good computer and assume making it full screen is what makes it less laggy
