Now, you might have come here just to see what on earth this topic was about. Well, I'll tell you.
It's where OOO got their inspiration for the Gloaming Wildwoods. You know all those made-up words describing the token-bought gear? Or even the token itself, the 'Frumious Fang'? Yes, they were made up - but not by OOO.
Take a look at this poem, written by Lewis Carroll. Then tell me that it isn't coincidence.

A small crown prize to whoever out there can find the most words in common between ALL the SK Snarby-related gear, and the poem! Competition expires Saturday 16th June, 2012, if there are enough entries.

Tip: I suggest using the wiki.

Here's what I've got.

The word "frumious" describing the "Bandersnatch" of the poem is the obvious reference from the Frumious Fang Token.
There's also the phrase: "O Frabjous Day!" which is the name of the Achievement for defeating the Snarbolax.
The Twisted Snarble Barb's description quotes the "snicker-snack" sound of the Vorpal blade from the poem.
The Twisted Targe's description similarly quotes the adjective "tulgey" used in the poem to describe the wood.

That's all I've got. Time to add all these to the trivia sections on all the Wiki pages.

I thought the reference to Jabberwock was kinda obvious.

The Snarbolax itself is a indirect ref to The Jabberwock itself. (the Jabberwock is a dragon)

I was told that O Frabjous Day was to signify the day to kill/ the death of the Jabberwock. We murdered the hell out of Snarbolax and the achievement of the same name follows.

I thought this was very obvious, not to mention common knowledge. I did think it was a bit strange that the wiki didn't mention it, though.

Snarby Barb's description, 'A bestial blade that can shoot slithy spines at those who would oppose its wielder.' uses the word 'slithy' which is used in to poem line ''Twas brillig, and the slithy toves'

Twisted SNarble Barb, 'A gnarled snarble barb enhanced to swing with a satisfying "snicker-snack". Snicker-snack; "The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!"

Barbbarous thorn blade, "Those who wield it claim to feel the fiery stare of the beast upon them whenever they close their eyes." Eyes of flame, fiery eyes, "The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame"

Twsited Targe, "A tulgey targe that will give your sword thrusts some teeth." Tulgey, "Came whiffling through the tulgey wood"

The token used to get the weapons/shield, Frumious Fang. Frumious, "The frumious Bandersnatch!"

I don't think the achievement counts as part of the gear.. ._.

EDIT: And vorpal, 'He took his vorpal sword in hand' seems to mean sharp/deadly. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vorpal I suppose that the Snarble Barb line fits the description... ._.

EDIT 2: ANd Jubjub, "Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun," jub means 'jerkin,' a kind of coat/jacket thing. I suppose the Snarby coat would work, wouldn't it?
