Apart from kiting the crap out of it... any recommendations for a bomber that hasn't used it?

I'm looking mostly for effective bomb combinations (that aren't simply the obvious)/ amazingly effective uses. (Does it break down trojan smacks? Vana suddenly get easier? Massive rooms chalk full of monsters become fish in a barrel? etc.

If there's additional things... feel free to let me know.

When there's no healers around, it's mostly useless. If you didn't know already, poison turns enemy heals into damage, so it used to be a great bomb for gremlins. But there are fewer menders nowadays...

One place I can think of where it'd be handy is the last spawn in The Gauntlet.

It's not very useful. Poison does make the Vanaduke fight easier, and helps a lot in arenas, but other than that you aren't going to find many uses for it.

If you want some tips for it, hit me up in game, bud. :)

It's a very good bomb, but situational. Definitely one of my favourites, so I've used it a lot and might be able to provide some useful pointers beyond the obvious "spread them around for max coverage" stuff that is haze bomb universal.

I often use it in tandem with a Sun Shards/Dark Reprisal series bomb. The defensive debuff is marginal (~5-7% I believe), but the offensive debuff (~50%?) is where it will usually shine. Over the last year, the length of the minor Poison seemed to have gotten longer somewhere; at first it'd wear off in 2-3 seconds, which was a pretty disappointing first impression for the majority players, especially when we had Shiver and Ash.

I'd say it's a very decent bomb nowadays, and fun to use with an "offensive" bomber set. If you're looking for a bomb backup weapon, then maybe less desirable than the other haze options.

well.

its a good bomb to pair up with an electron vortex, though i dont know how well that goes down when facing gremlins, but in any case where this combo proves usable, is effective. the monsters just kinda get clumped up in a putrid ball of gunk on which your teammated will rain hell down upon. te poison is kinda just the insult to the injury.

The poison from Plague Needle reduces enemies abilities more than Venom Veiler, sacrificing radius and mobility if you're interested in that.
