So i'm wondering whether to buy a cutter to play LD. I'm usually recon and cutter is a fast blade, but ive never seen it used so i have no idea what its strengths/weaknesses are. Any preferences/suggestions?

I wouldn't buy it for Lockdown, because it is only good due to a bug. Wait for it to be certain if the bug is permanent or temporary.

cutter=bad for LD.
i would highly advise against a cutter for LD. its long attack leaves you waaaaay too vulnerable.
i suggest a flourish or snarble barb. they have that quick factor without all the vulnerabilities.

Hmm, it has some uses...
The cutter CAN be used (probably only if you have an extra weapon slot). As a newly-made Recon-bomber, I find Cutters fairly hard to dodge. I'd only use it for Recon-hunting though, not actual DPS. BT,DT,GTTS.

The cutter is one of the worst swords to use in T2 LD, not sure for T3 tho.
Some people can pull of full combos in my face and only 2 health bars taken every combo.
Which is sad, when they are using the 3* version its still 3 and a half bars.
I prefer the Twisted Snarble Barb for recon hunting. Its area spikes :P
It has normal damage, wich is a shame.
Its fast, but whatever damage you do in like 15 hits with it can be done with a single blow from a regular sword.
