Heavy plate shield bug

I just noticed that I'm not getting the stun resist from my Heavy plate shield that is noted in the item. I thought it was just the miracle hood taking my stun resist down but I took off my miracle hood and noticed that in my defense summary I do not have any stun resist despite having the heavy plate shield equipped
I really don't think this is intentional and is an item stat bug. I really don't think it is just me either but it sucks that I got an item that advertises stun resist but I don't have any stun resist at all.

Resists on the shield are
Resists on the shield are only active while you're blocking. Resists on your armor are only active while you're not blocking.

To add to OnmyojiOmn, shield stats do not appear in the armor summary.
just wondering but do u have ur sheild active while ur getting stunned?
