this is about appreciation and/or (unlikely)people who do not like the games Its also a place where you can see if you've got good people appreciating YOU
I particulary like the thought you put in the games so I appreciate you.
@Artistbma Your games are good too and im not criticising you bcause I and ME do not particlarly like them does not mean I do not APPRECIATE them as if they can pull in a few hundred OTHER people might like 'em

Thanks Sppw. I know it's not an insult and I'm glad you appreciate me and my efforts to make the forum active and fun. I just wanted to redirect some of the attention to others who are here and doing the same. I also hope some of the others who were playing the games come back and start playing again. They were lots of fun to play with.

I have started too many forum games to count and list. Some have been restarted by others and I'm no longer the OP on them. They were created in my own warped mind and the never ending forum goo. Many where started on other sites and I brought them here. Some are SK exclusives. Many were just stolen from other forum sites that seemed to be of the type that would be enjoyed here.
My favorite is the Ban Game. Not in playing but it was created on another site in the utmost mocking respect of an admin who was wildly wielding the ban hammer swift and hard usually with the reason of disrespecting site, admin and/or other users. I thought I would be the next one to feel the pain of the hammer but didn't and it lived on. Years later, it is everywhere on every forum and often listed on forum game lists in the top 5 or 10 forum games. I can't believe OP's everywhere aren't getting hammered by admins, GM's and mods for posting it. The I stole the Cookie Game was originally I Stole the Cheese but I changed it when I brought it here. I Stole the Cheese just seemed too cheesy for SK users.
Yes, some are dying. They always do. Others get added to replace them. Some of them will die too. Some will get used and live forever. Occasionally they will show up on other forums. Sometimes people use the heck out of them turning them into their own thing. They take on a life and air of their own. Those using them sometimes implement additional rules for the game as they go. I don't go back to some of them feeling like I don't fit in or are part off them. I just watch them being enjoyed by those who are using them. It's the life of the forum. I don't feel the need to control it. The games aren't mine.

This shouldn't be about me. There are others here who start and create wonderful threads. I am honored and glad to be in their presence. We should add them and talk about them. Like Artistbma and the Before and After Game. We don't want them to be forgotten and fade away like lame games and threads. Without them and those who post in general, our entire sub-forum would die. When I first started here Gremlin Chatter was severely under used and disrespected. Sometimes no one would post all day. I would hate to see it go back to that.
