After just updating the game, I try to launch Spiral Knights, the window shows up, then closes down before I see anything. Please help.
I can't launch Spiral Knights?
If are you using windows 7 try to "run as administrator(or something)"
It still closes, I dont use windows, and I cant put the contents on projectx.
If you havent already, try restarting your computer.
By contents he means that in the place where Spiral Knights is installed is a file called projectx.log, open it and copy whats in it and paste it here.
I restarted the mac, and nothing different happened. Also, I got the log.

I use a Mac OS X 10.4.11, I cant reinstall java, I have NO idea on how to fix it, restarting doesnt help, and I am desperate to play....
Please help.....
What do you mean you can't re install java? Being able to re install it may solve your problem. You may have some corrupted files.
I dont know what a resolution problem is and java is built in to my mac laptop, so I cant reinstall it. In the mean time ill play on my desktop.
Try and download java from the website, and then configure your system to use the version of java you just downloaded. To do this, go to the /Applications/Utilities/ folder and open the Java Preferences utility. In the General section of this utility you should see the java runtime that you downloaded enabled, but its probably listed at the bottom of other versions of the java runtime. You can then enable the runtime's use by dragging it to the top of the list. You may have already downloaded a newer version of java but just never enabled it.
By resolution, he means the size of your screen (1024x768 1280x720......).
It wont let me download another java, and the new one is enabled. Im just thinking about giving up now.....
Try following the directions here http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13727_7-57423014-263/how-to-install-and-uni... to uninstall java from your system. Then try to reinstall.
It wont open the Oracle, my laptop is too old...
I give up.....
I'm actually having the same problem. I'm using Window 7.
You mean you inspected your log file and found the java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError too?
UnsatisfiedLinkError happens when Java failed to use a native library for some reason. Common causes are:
- The native library cannot be found.
- The native library file is corrupted and cannot be loaded.
- The native library and the Java class went out of sync - Java class is trying to use a function that cannot be found in the native library.
Since it's working for the rest of us, the version that OOO is distributing has no problem. The copy in your computer may be corrupted/damaged/incomplete.
Looks like you need to reinstall Spiral Knights. Follow instructions here:

check if you have 32bit AND 64bit Java on your pc at the same time. I had 32bit but downloaded 64bit for another game, but i didnt remove the other Java. Eventually it turned Java couldnt run SK because 32bit and 64bit we're having trouble being in the same room.
If the game is 32 bit it should only be able to use the 32 bit version of java, I have both installed as well but I'm running Linux. It may just be simpler to just re install java before re installing the game.
Are you still having this problem? If so, please try re-installing the game first. You will not lose any in game progress by doing so.
If that does not help please post the contents of the projectx.log found in your Spiral Knights installation directory.
