Ok, so after a month of "I'm quitting" threads, I figured I may as well put in my 2 cents about how to fix this game to keep players interested. A lot of people leaving are saying it's due to the way the game is too dumbed down with the mission system. I agree with that but instead of (Female dog)ing and moaning about it, I kinda thought of a way to fix this.

First, get rid of the boss levels that already exist (ESSPECIALLY VANA). They Were originally put in specific locations within clockworks to be a final fight at the end of an expedition through the pre levels. That way, when you need tokens, you work for them. None of this "O I'll mission jump it" BS. It would also increase the use of the arcade durastically. Thus might even fix the CE prices since vana will now require work again to acquire the crowns for CE.

Second, once the main ingame bosses are gone, put in little mini bosses to fill in those spots in missions. Akrus, to me, was too easy. BUT, I still love that mission because it's one of those chill little bosses that seems to be in the right place. If OOO made more mission like this with a mini boss at the end, it'd be epic! Akrus is already one along with that rescue camp gremlin thing, now they can try to make a mission where the Tortodrome is back as a mini boss or even an oiler version of the toxilargo... Something new and challenging enoug to keep the existing players in.

Lastly, I've been seeing some discussion about nerfs. OOO, please stop nerfing things. It males this game feel like it was meant for 5 year olds. Stop nerfing the enemies that seem challenging because people can't deal with them, it's part of the gaming experience to learn and defeat such enemies. I understand if the attacks are beyond ridiculous like the greaver thing, but most nerfs were unnecessary.

I guess this would fall under "Suggestions" but I want you people to be discussing on this, potentially brining up more good points that the debs can look at.

First, Missions were a terrible idea from the start.
But I've already talked about this.
The content was never intended to be structured like that and that's why the Arcade is obsoleted by it.

Second, just about every 'miniboss' monster in the game besides Trojans and Treants was removed. So I figure that's what they will be coming back as.

Lastly, I agree to an extent.
They could have fixed Gremlin Menders by having their bodies disappear on death instead of just getting rid of all of their abilities. Considering the main complaint was that they were impossible to defeat solo if there was more than one because they could endlessly revive each other.
But nerfing isn't about doing the smart thing, it's about making people happy. And what makes people happy is turning their worst nightmare into cake.

sounds all too familiar

Yes, i completely agree. there was a time when the arcade was actually full, and not just one or two havens, but like 3 or four.
The other thing that makes sense, is to have the fact that you have to traverse the levels to reach the final boss, it makes adventuring all the more worthwhile, Now it's just "POOF" your there, ya kinda takes the fun out of it.

And as far as nerfing, well there are some thing's that are just simply ridiculous, problem is 3 rings will go ahead and Nerf everything, I guess trying to really pinpoint the real problem is too time consuming.

And about Tortodrome, yeah I've heard so many times "he's coming back!".. Neit.

Here is the thing. Understandably 3 rings is a small team, so what?, many others are smaller than they are, OK then the argument is, "they don't have the resources to pump out new content", Hellloooo Mcfly! are you really that blind? Which leads to point out that there are 3 categories of players.
Veteran players those that have seen it and done it all, now are just kicking back to see what is next.
Mid-level players Those that are playing the game as we speak , those that actually grind the levels but refuse to spend real money.
Mediocre players Those players that don't really have too much skill, but instead, their skill is represented by the amount of money they have spent so far.

It's more like this, Supply and demand. As the demand for new and fresh content goes up, a little is released, Do you honestly think that they would release all of it at once?
