I saw a med shadow def, it was really close to the low's shadow def. like maybe 3 pixels off, barely enough to notice in combat

On low star items, there is hardly a difference.
On higher star items, it starts to show, since the bars get bigger on the UVs even.
People want to spend good money on the best is how it all works.

1) It becomes more noticeable when upgraded.
2) The difference is the same as that between a low UV and no UV. If you think the difference is unnoticeable. . . well, that explains why no one cares about lows, really.
Lows are really not worth the trouble of selling directly. My suggestion: 2.5kcr bid, 5kcr BIN.
