Huffing and puffing, I chased the fleeing gremlin. Once I was within range a final shot felled the gremlin sending it sprawling. As I bent down to pick up a bronze bolt I heard a small, helpless sound. An infant was orphaned. Without hesitation I wrapped the child in my poncho, and boarded the elevator.
After what seemed like an eternity I gathered up the courage to enter the Gloaming wild woods instead of returning to haven as I had done the past 2 times. I took in the gloomy landscape and listened to the leaves rustling in the breeze as I walked towards the gate. The monsters were pathetic, perishing in a few swings of my sword but the whole time I felt as if I were being watched..At the end of the depth, confidence overcame my reason and i pushed the descend button ready to defeat the snarbolax... Or so I thought.
