My Theory on The Core

I have always wanted to know what is in the core, and I have read the echo stones on the wiki and I have read thoeries on the core in the forums. And I have created my own theorie: The only way to get to the core is through the unknown passage and that the sanctuary is acually in the core, and that the swarm and the void and the unknown passage were created to protect the core as some sort of gaurdian and that they are not some horrible darkness. I also believe that the gremlins created the core to create the clockworks and then the core was so powerful, that chunks of different worlds slowly entered the clockworks, and that the gremlins dont want us to be miserable on this planet, they just are trying to protect the core to keep cradle safe. And from all that information, i have concluded that the core was meant to be left alone and that we are meant to stay on this planet, and that we should protect the core.
So tell me: do you believe this to be true?

They probably built the twins to try to stop us from reaching the core.

"This world was created to protect me.
Vulnerable in slumber, worlds were drawn to shield me from the darkness.
This world has become my prison.
In his madness, the architect [King Tikinzar] betrayed the pact. Twisting his creation into a game of death, it now devours all who enter its iron embrace"
I really suggest you read all of the artifacts, they add a lot to the game's story and lore. The gremlins were nice ppl IMO, but they went crazy and stuff.

Yeah, the gremlins went crazy because they created the core and went nuts over it.

Nononono
Twins was a project by Feron (our leader) and Seerus together. Feron wanted to kill off the strong knights (us players) that could ruin his treaty with the Crimson Order because we are violent and like to solve issues with violence.
Obviously, those two puppies couldn't have a neck long enough to go alllll the way to haven from depth.. like... 17. It was all just a puzzle in the boss room, Feron thought a puzzle would be perfect to stop the stronger knights (us players) that are a threat to him and his Crimson Order treaty because stronger knights are stupid and bad at puzzles (he underestimated us.. er... most of us). Weaker knights aren't a threat to him since they won't try and fight their way to the core, weaker knights are more willing to a treaty with the Crimson Order.
Seerus was also behind roarmy. Feron and Seerus both knew eachother and held meetings at the OCH place. That is why Seerus destroyed his information to "protect the secrets" after you (almost) kill him -> because he didn't want to expose Feron. You saw Feron right before you faced Seerus.... That is because he was meeting quick with Seerus to alert him that strong knights (us players) have broken into his warehouse whatever thing and Feron told Seerus to destroy the secrets. Remember when Feron had gremlin bodies laying near him? Seerus did that for him so we wouldn't expect anything suspicious. Read the description of Dark Retribution. Seerus uses it to kill off bad gremlins of the Crimson Order. He had Gremlin bodies lying around somewhere and lent some to Feron to put at his feet.
And those secrets are a treaty between the part of the Spiral Order which is to be looking for the power source + exploring clockworks (lead by Feron, and Feron is under Ozlo who is doing Lord-knows-what on Cradle).
And the core is simply the core... nothin' special to it besides whatever the heck Tinkinface and the Swarm are doin' in there. It can in fact also be used as a power source, and Cradle wants to kill Feron because Feron is making a treaty with the Crimson Order in order to get the power source from the Core + go home with the Skylark before purifying Cradle. Issue is, is that Cradle needs to be purified and if the "falling stars" fade away, (or we leave because Feron got us cheap power from his treaty) then Cradle is consumed as said in the Ice Queen echo stone. Which is why Cradle needs to kill Feron or we won't purify Cradle from the Swarm / Tinkinface who is using the Cradle's ever changing interior to be used as a trap before we leave Cradle with the Skylark.
All along, however, Feron is the only reason we are alive because of his treaty w/ Crimson Order. Crimson Order and Swarm could crush us in a second we are a nothing to them -.-

Your not getting the point about my theorie. -.-

Read the last echo stone (UFSC one from Darkfire Vana)
It says that the Swarm is consuming Cradle.
So we know that the swarm isn't protecting Cradle.....
"As I dreamed, it consumed.
It devoured the knowledge of time... Memories of the dead... The hearts of kings and the souls of their people... Good and evil... It consumed.
It grew stronger, endlessly mirroring itself within the space of my dream. Endlessly mirroring... Expanding... Infinite.
What it was before, it is no more. Neither beast nor god, it is a creation unlike all.
It is... The Swarm."
"It" is referring to the swarm throughout the entire echo stone description thing as cleared up in the very last 4 words of it. As you can see, the Swarm is in fact bad and not a "guardian"
Another echo stone notes how Tinkinzar (or the gremlins or the Crimson Order) are twisting Cradle's ever changing interior to become their trap.
So no, gremlins aren't protecting the core / Cradle either.

Here is the quote: "In his madness, the architect betrayed the pact. Twisting his creation into a game of death, it now devours all who enter its iron embrace."
This is why we have the echo stones, to clear up some theories that are false.
Mine, however, cannot be proven false. Yet.
btw architect = Tinkinzar (/ the gremlins / the Crimson Order).

@The-Rawrcake
*puts on tin foil hat*

How did u find out about Feron and his treaty, and how did u get that info, and i can prove ur theory false.

There is a thread that I have which explains it all.
Like thousands of blocks of text.
I forget its title, sadly. Hmmm... something with "Feron" in its title.
I'll find it and edit this post.
edit: heres my shorty thread!

btw u have 2 read it ALL or it won't make sense or you might miss somethin' ^.^

The Core opened for the Alpha Squad. If the Core didn't want them in, why would it just let them in?
And from speculation of what various NPC's say in some missions, us knights were dragged down by the Core. It wants us to destroy the Swarm.

1. The Alpha Squad went through the unknown passage which is the only way into the core.
2. The swarm wants the core to themself so thats why they are protecting it but at the same time the swarm is doing some good protecting it.

So basically there were 4 factions; gremlins, strangers, jellies and almirians. Doggies are not really a faction, they just made the enviroment hostile, prolly coz snarbo could not handle the swarm/core/whatever entity. Ignore the tiny devils, they are not related to this [scrap], that's why there are no shadow lair devilites around the sanctuary
Almirian king vanaduke turned evil due to swarm/core/whatever entity and burnt the place up. Gremlin king tikidude turned evil as well along with his minions making gremlins hostile and lost in eternal struggle. Jellies kinda just chilled along and wobbled around. Strangers were farming snipes on the surface. Then KABOOM this big ass mothership started to drop little boygirlrobots down from the sky. Now they dwell with the strangers and are killing everything below the surface, trying to get to the cake in the bottom
I assume we'll evetually see void knights down there and more almirians turned bad

1. Really? Then why did their recon module end up right after NORMAL Vanaduke? And how come we don't end up in the Core like the Alpha Squad did?
2. The Swarm is screwing up the Clockworks and the Core. That's not protecting.

1. They left their fricken little recording at end of fricken little vana then they did the fricken unknown passage. And the fricken sanctuary is IN the fricken little core so ppl HAVE fricken been inside the core.
2. Yeah, swarm is doing some fricken good, they dont have fricken brains so they cant fricken figure out how to get into the core, thus they arent doing any fricken harm.
FRICKEN SUCK ON THAT!!!!

Tarkune your theory is obviously wrong (unless I'm missing something in the lore here... Am I? ;_;... Anyways!) If the core is the ONLY thing the Swarm can't touch (kills, incinerates, clenses them or whatever) then why in the name of Vog would they want to be near the core?! If per say it does not hurt them at all, they just have to find a way to get to it, then why would they not be there already? I believe there is something much much bigger down there, something that has unbelievable power... But the the Swarm i something uncontrable in his power, and it saw the power and strength in the knights (Unity, Duty, Destiny :( RIP Bionicle), so it took them along with a reason to fight to the core.
P.S. Is it just me, or is it possible that we ARE immune to the Swarm?

I don't believe the Gremlins or Swarm have good intentions. The way I understand the echo stones is that Tinkinzar formed a "pact" with whatever is in the core (or is the core itself?) and created the Clockworks as a protective barrier. He then betrayed the pact and "twisted his creation into a game of death" and left the entity he intended originally to protect to be imprisoned. The Swarm, I think are just against everyone in this conflict. Many people say they're trying to get into the Core to corrupt it, but this dialogue from a Mission seems to imply they already are in The Core:
"Vaelyn: I don't know, but it is certainly a terrifying picture she has painted. Something stirs within the heart of this world, something terrible. I've felt it since we first set foot on this world; invisible eyes watching our every move, shapes that form just out of view... something greater than gremlins calls this world home."

I have said this before, the swarm wants the dore to themselfs, so they are protecting it, but they are not doing any harm. I believe that the core was meant to be left alone, and that we should NOT worry about it.

le'sigh
These theory crafters....
The core is a core. There is nothing special to it, besides it being a power source + where the Tinkinzar / Swarm are hiding (where the heck else would the architect of Cradle sit.... on the SURFACE??). The swarm has no brain.... only arms xD. It doesn't have its own intentions. It doesn't desire to "protect the core".
Swarm = consuming Cradle. Read the Echo Stones. The swarm IS DOING CRADLE HARM. We have already quoted the echo stones for you.
Third, the Swarm was released / made / whatever the verb is by Tinkinzar. He is the reason there is the Swarm.
Tinkinzar betrayed "the pact", as explained in the echo stone, with Cradle. He is no doubt evil. He made it a death trap. He wouldn't release the Swarm for a dumb reason.
SWARM IZ BAD

There is one problem with the sanctuary being the core- the knight immediately gets on an elevator after visiting the sanctuary and goes down to "The Core: The Path is Sealed" level... so the beam of light talking to you might be the mind that is the core talking to you, but it is not the core itself.... kind of like a telephone.

The being in the core/sanctuary is called the Spirit Mother. How do I know this? Try reading what the sprite says in D25 of FSC.
How no one has yet to make this connection I'll never know.

I do believe the Core may be our very own original homeland, and that we've left it before and since highly evolved from the primitive species that are still in it.
I remember seeing something saying that with the Swarm endangering the planet, most gremlins left the planet, but those who didn't followed Tinkinzar as he told them to build an iron shell protecting the planet from the Swarm. He then later told them to create several patches of land surrounding the already bulked planet, or something along the genre; I'm pretty sure it's somewhere around the Wiki.
There's also the Mission "Becoming A Champion" where Lieutenant Feron says the Core looks quite familiar to him.
If gremlins are only fighting to protect the Core, why don't they say so? Then why'd they build the Twins to attack Haven?
