And I'm rather disappointed in the devs. We really shouldn't go for this at all... it would really demean our efforts to keep prices high.

Yeah, I know you'll always get something. The problem is that nearly half the time, it's a 1 UV ticket, and more than 3/4ths of the time, it's a UV ticket at all.

I'm kinda upset that Eury didn't answer our frustrations with that fact, but hopefully they will be considered, since she probably read them.

I agree the accessory rates should be boosted, maybe like 2.5% crown, 5% aura, 10% crest (35% total) and the UV tickets maybe modified so that you receive 3 variants total (25% of three 1-variant tickets, 20% of a 1-variant and 2-variant ticket, and 20% of a 3-variant ticket).

People that rage-Punch are usually fairly wealthy in the first place- that 45% chance of something worth 20k is not particularly big incentive, compared to even the cat tail and rabbit(donkey) ears. Even the cheapest cat tails are worth in the neighborhood of 100k to a patient seller, and extra tall vents maybe a third of that.

I would argue that increasing the accessory rate or making this an only-accessories promo would bring in more cash- time and again people have demonstrated that cool accessories are more desirable than bonus cr or UVs. If I were to spend money I'd definitely prefer a guaranteed decent accessory (crest) or a good shot at something niftier (aura, crown). This is also because a single UV ticket is pretty worthless- your odds of getting a high or vhigh/max of a desirable bonus type on that particular piece of gear are miniscule (even medium is uncommon).

I saw the crown earlier today in Spiralspy. I was like "Neato. I'll probably throw some money at the promo that uses that. Maybe stuff the blue one on my snarb cap." Seeing the odds however, I've reconsidered. Ridiculous. I guess the days of the Rose Regalia and its reasonable odds are never coming back. A shame.

This promo was actually good enough to me that I decided to purchase CE for the first time...I am now P2P, not that it matters at all! (heh, apparently it matters enough that I would state it so publicly...) I've got so much CE, I'll just be sitting here overwhelmed...T.T

@Uuni: Definitely submit bug report. There was a bug previously that Nick mentioned that if you recieved Variant Tickets in your boxes, that they wouldn't appear in your Arsenal. Maybe that is what it is....either way, I'm sure that the GM's and devs would happy to look into that!

Well, the problem fixed

Well, the problem fixed itself. I just had to open another box and after that I saw that I had multiple punch tickets, they were not visible before that for whatever reason. 3x 1 variant and 1x 2 variant. Not too well :<
