I'd really like to attach a crest of winter onto my Snarbolax Coat along with a parrying blade. It's not like they occupy the same space or anything.
Add an Armor Side Accessory Slot
accessories are divided into specific areas for a reason, and some take up almost no space, the crests, where as others take up alot of space, the divisioning was to prevent any overlap, or as much as possible
perhaps the solution to your particular problem would be to have crests and badges as a separate slot on all armours, side slot would exist purely for the parrying blade, where as a top front/bade/crest slot would accept all the badges, and allow them to be worn with (or actually slightly over) the bomb bandolier, canteen, barrel belly (because thats soooo popular) and your parrying blade
you make a good point to separate them, but like you said some accessories we have now and future ones will create over lap even if appointing them to different locations.
example: parrying blade and barrel belly. maybe shrinking the parrying blade and create those slots could work. make the blade into a dagger.
Team Fortress's accessory system is rather complex, but it works just fine. I'm sure OOO could do something similar.
I didn't notice that that even didn't exist, since I don't even have any attached accessories... but yeah, I kinda agree... the thing is that we're kinda referring to a side-bottom space here.. also, some frontal accessories (monster pockets) take up more space than others. Hence, we might see some overlap there... they'd have to rethink frontal slots in general, as well as placement of certain accessories.
