Is the party finder button region specific?

If someone knows a better spot for this thread, I'm all ears.

I've been using the party find button a bit, its really handy. The last time I used it however, I went from my usual solid 4 bars to the 2-3 bars I'm accustomed to seeing when I join my EU friends on the EU server. Does anyone know if the party finder is region specific?

If it's not, I totally suggest either removing all parties from the list that aren't in your region, or at least have a note at the top stating what region they are in.

I think i'd also suggest putting in sorting, to only show either specific gates, tiers, or missions/no missions

If you ask me, I don't think so but it should. Last time I used the party finder, I got consistent 2 bars which is what I always get using the US server. I get full 4 bars using EU.

Good catch, we'll change it to display the party's region if it's different from yours.

RE: sorting: yeah, it's an obvious next step. But what we have solves 95% of the problem and is simple to use. Adding filtering on what KIND of party you want complicates it and is probably not worth the extra effort.

The game itself doesn't sort

The game itself doesn't sort by language though. There are plenty of server notification type things, so it's a lot easier to do, and it's a little more important than being able to chat with people you're with. You can't decide languages when you hop into the arcade anyway.

Can it at least sort by tier? I don't wanna keep staring at people in depth 2 and 3...

It may be.

That could be a good possibility for the Party Finder Button to be region specific. I know OOO got a note of that. Nice thought.

Ah!

It does in fact sort by matching languages for the first batch of parties you receive, but I am not taking into account the "Party with Any" setting. If that's off I'll go ahead and not even match you to parties with the wrong language.
