Read the patch notes ppl!
Some time ago, well, a long time ago, OOO decided to turn all mission arenas but The Gauntlet into this version. It wasn't just for looks, it also reduced the payout, preventing ppl from farming it, Rise or Fall was on par with The Sovereign Slime. Arcade arenas were unchanged.

Arena rooms like this show up in the mission Rise or Fall, and maybe elsewhere. Are you seeing this style of arena in an Arcade gate?
