I know I'm late, the update that changed this was probably when I was taking a break from this game, but what was the purpose of this? I thought that was pretty cool and unique, much like the weapon itself. It didn't make the spur more viable either because it still stops at 4*, but only made it more similar to any other 3hit sword.
Why doesn't the Spur's first attack propel you forward anymore?

I thought people didn't use
I thought people didn't use it because it only goes up to 4*, I sure would if it had 5* version(s).
Plus, people still don't use it, even with this attack pattern

That movement meant you could not really use that weapon on some scenarios without suiciding yourself.

the same could be said of a LOT of weapons -- that's why you get two (or more)
for me, the whole point of the spur was that you could move and attack at the same time, since dodging is just as important as blocking in SK. i used my winmillion for a very, very long time, well into tier 3, but it's just boring and sad now
Because one of the biggest reasons people didn't use it was the risky attack pattern that might propel them into traps.
