I still haven't watched it (will do that later) but here you have some coverage from one of the reviewers in Blistered Thumbs/That Guy With The Glasses, which I tend to follow.

This game needs as much exposure as possible, I wonder what he may have said about it. Well, enjoy it. : )

Yeah, it was pretty accurate. He really nailed the energy system, and the community... childish, and awful community; energy system feels limiting.

I don't think the community

I don't think the community is awful, maybe that's my lack of experience in playing MMO's or maybe I've been lucky. I just see this as every other MMO I've played, there will be childish people in the game you play no matter what. I just don't hang out with them.

The energy system is limiting.

Also, take into consideration this guy didn't review anything past t1, i don't think. He may have done a bit of tier 2. I just think he could have made a more accurate review if he had reviewed more of tier 2, where the majority of the players in the game are at.

Overall... I liked his review. I think it's accurate outside of that. Haha... I also love it when people in steam forget they have their mics on. :D Some people listen to some interesting music.

I saw Luguiru in that pic

I saw Luguiru in that pic :P

The vid is actually really good for people wondering if they can play or not. But maybe adding in a line or two about being able to sustain yourself on ce bought from crowns would have been better.

I'd say it's accurate, but I'd also wager that he probably didn't get that far into tier 3.

The energy system is by no

The energy system is by no means a problem in this game. The reason the reviewer didn't realize this is because he did not get far enough into the game. Don't say he was wrong on all of his points, though.

The main problem the devs need to look at is

A. Repetitive. Danger missions will hopefully make this game more fun and challenging, but there are still 3 things really making this game repetitive and mundane.
>1. The puzzles are a complete joke, except for 2 that made me actually require my brain.
>>a. An overhaul to current levels in the Arcade / Missions is a better choice over adding some more non-lore related Danger Missions that include difficult puzzles.
>2. The payouts for missions make it so that few are really for profit, the others are just horrible for crown payouts and not worth most players' time.
>>a. tends to be Undead content which is profitable. Probably going to happen again with this "new" undead Danger Mission.
>3. The lore is terrible.
>>a. Of what little lore there is, the devs have chosen "danger missions" and other non-important to the story ways of adding content. Expect this game to not go in depth with its lore at all when it dies off. Considering we do not get content that often...
>>b. We are constantly doing mundane missions in "Mission Land" instead of the true randomly generated Arcade with Danger Missions / Scenario Rooms. We seem to no longer be playing on Cradle anymore.

Cool

He seems to have made a good enough review. Though he seems not to have dwelled to much around Tier 2 by now, I wonder if he saw the 800 CE crafting cost price of 5* items, those 3000CE he bought wouldn't stand around too much xD Also, he didn't mention Shadow Lairs/Keys, but he did mention Expansion Missions... maybe he saw them in the same way? He also didn't seem to touch UVs or Accesories/Lockboxes, but as they are optional contents, it is fair play.

But all in all, it was a nice review. I wonder what he saw in Haven (well, that "roleplay" aside xD) that made him conclude we were a "childish community" xD.

Oh dude, the every day

Oh dude, the every day players (I wouldn't say it is the entire community) in Haven are like 7 years old. I wish OOO would step it up and freaking ban them all permanently. 13 years of age limit to this game, it should be raised a bit higher.

I feel like he didn't see any of the good bosses before he made this review. Otherwise he probably would have commented on the fact that the RT are a puzzle boss.

That was actually a pretty good review. I like that he focused it towards a newer player, rather than just calling out just bad features of the game for reviewing. It was balanced, to say the least

Yes! Boonswoggle agrees! With everything!

Yep. The community is VERY childish.
Have you seen the amount of complaints that follows a majority of major updates as well as the countless smaller ones? Not to mention everyone posting image links and Youtube videos to do the talking for them.

And the energy system IS a problem for newer players.
Like he's said, the energy can actually last you for a very long while...once you're not worrying about crafting ALL the things. The entry is pretty daunting considering you'd want better gear just to progress. Everything the guy said was true. I'm only surprised that he didn't catch any beggars.
_____
As for the "good" bosses? There's like...4. They're all good in their own rights, but they too are very repetitive once you get into the grind.

I do agree that all of the bosses are good. Perhaps I should have said unique instead. A lot of games have a boss like the Snarbolax, just wait until they get near something so they can drop their defenses, but I think that the rest of the bosses have a much more interesting... let's say "flavor"

(Not to say I don't love Snarby. I just think that seeing the rest of the bosses would have given him more perspective)

What's up with that guy who freaks out I swear I turned the volume off on that part that was so annoying.

Find a good guild, and treat strangers with skepticism

I've had good experiences with the community, and bad. I have a great guild, and have had some good experiences with random parties... but then, I've also had people insist on soloing rooms during boss missions. Some even freak out and refuse to play at all when I try to follow and work as a team. (I usually end up wasting most of my health reviving those "solo savants". Lag happens, people. Plan for it.)

I really enjoy cooperative gameplay, and it puzzles me that there are players who view teamwork as a stigma to be avoided.

As for the forums... I'd like to see more active moderation to discourage "me [twenty]-too" threads, or people who insist on bumping for attention. But I suspect that only a small fraction of players read the forums, and at least part of the forum problem is due to the fact that discussions require deep, substantive fodder. Discussing new levels gets old fast, but hopefully the supposed guild changes being worked on will foster player interactions, and let players do more to shape their gameplay.

Yes, I wish they would ban those obviously underaged players. But I understand why they don't, they need the little kids parents money.
But...there ARE SO MANY. Hey, I found a way to easily make my account without giving out my e-mail. The E-mail is what's used to verify if you're of proper age... (But I verified my E-mail later just so I could get the proto crest). I mean, if it wasn't easy enough for kids to just lie about their age when they make their E-mail, you're letting them pass without requiring it.

Me when I was under 13: "hahaha! your silly wall of text wont contain me! i win this round [Name of Developer, but probably misspelled]!"
Me when I am over 13: "By Jove, did I really act like that? Now I see what that wall of text was talking about, I don't want hundreds of tweenage me's running about!"

But on a slightly more on topic note, I felt like the review was pretty good. He gave an accurate assessment of the game and I, as a veteran of sorts of the game, can totally see where he's coming from. I really have no qualms.

Pretty good, pretty accurate

Pretty good, pretty accurate review. Though I wish he made a comment about how it's possible to become self-sustaining at one point.
