I want to transfer my Spiral Knight account to Steam. I play SK in Kongregate (another game website...much like steam) soo I'm just wondering if its doable or not? ...I already ask some of my friends in SK and other people. But they kinda confuse me or does not make sense?. Soooo.. yeah.. I DON'T play SK in this website (their official website) I play on Kongregate..soo yeah and I ONLY want the SK account, not my Kongregate account. i hope this makes sense :P and Pardon my spelling and grammar error.

PS: Sorry if I place this tread in a wrong forum.

Processing Thoughts of You Always

Yes, you can transfer to Steam. It's been a while since I did it, though, so I can't remember exactly what the process is - I think you can choose to transfer an account on the Steam start-up page, though. I suspect there is a guide somewhere if you use the Search bar in the top right-hand corner...

Just download it through steam, uncheck the "login with steam" box before it auto logs you in, and login with your kongregate account. At least thats how it works for Spiral Knights website accounts.

Cannot be done

As I have read from a dev in the forums, Kong uses a token to tell SK that you are logged in. Then SK proceeds as normal. In short, the token is something you don't have access to, so the process cannot be done. I play from Kong and have wanted to change my knight over to this login so I don't have to worry about kong taking SK out for whatever hairbrained idea that comes into their heads.

You could try to get a GM/Dev to transfer your knight to your SK account, then you can bind the account to steam. However, I must warn you, the binding to steam CANNOT be reversed.

Hope this helps!

I've had

I've had the browser-based account for awhile. Want to transfer to steam... is that at all possible?
