One gives you lots of health and defense
but other gives you a good amount of defense and health with a great elemental defense
Dont know which is best

Grey owlight shield is better
Grey owlight shield is better IMO. T3 can turn into quite the bullet hell, and nearly all of the bullets are elemental on top of a fair number of melee attacks. It also has shock and fire resistance, while the omega shield has nothing going for it except a lot of health. On top of that the owlite shield starts at 2*, making it much easier to grind a UV.
One's max normal and max health, the other is high normal, higher elemental, and high health. If you get whacked by normal a lot, I think your choice is clear. If you venture into tier 3 at all though...
