They stimulate certain areas of your brain to make it unable to realize that it is in a virtual reality and that it doesn't have a body. They do this forever, passing the method on to other people who continue this scheme.
After they get all spiral knights players into this virtual reality, they do it to non spiral knights players, until they have the whole world in a virtual reality. I must leave now. They have realized I have leaked the information. I must escape.
