It was down for roughly 12 hours for me (ninja'd). Amazon's server (which I guess OOO rents... or something.) went down and OOO couldn't do anything about it. Seems like the server's finally coming back up after that major crash. o.o

Amazon cloud failure caused by power outages which were caused thunderstorms in north virginia. Netflix, Instagram etc were offline also

I'm not sure if this is the same problem, but yesterday night I was doing a mission and there was some major problems in JK run, so I had to log out. This morning I try to log in and it say this: The game is not currently open to the public. And I still can't log on! Can somebody give me an awnser???

Lets just wait for three rings and amazon to get things rolling again. Look on the bright side, You'll have more mist to run with by the time all this is working again.
Im still unable to log on, it gets me to my character select screen after about 3 minutes of waiting, but then freezes on entering ready room.
I dont know if that means the servers up since were able to log in, or if its still not up. Can anyone confirm that they are in Haven right now?

I got the "game not open to public" error as well, along witht he Failed to connect one.
Well the website is back up. Is the game now as well? I still cant log in.

seems like we all know the game has been offline for so and so, and the site has been too until just recently, and it seems like something should be posted to the main page of the game site to let people know whats happening. (server now online btw but it is taking awhile to go past the logging in part, it will go in to the character selection part)

I noticed that yesterday, however today what I am noting is that some of the threads are inaccessible on the Sub Forums as well as whole Sub Forums. My workaround by going to the latest updated thread in a Sub Forum does not work because half of the latest threads are down.
Why was Rwar's Guild Site List available for me to peruse and respond to, but not my Guild's Recruitment thread?
On a side note, hyperlinking isn't functioning properly either for me this morning.

The site works fine for me, and the game does as well. However, as others have stated, the servers were knocked out by a power outage in northern VA, which is where Amazon keeps their Cloud servers for a variety of things. Long story short, because of the power outage, anything on the NoVa servers was inaccessible, including some services with Netflix, Instagram, and consequently several of OOO's games. What it boils down to is that while it's annoying, this was completely out of their control.
But secretly we all know that OOO just wanted the afternoon off to enjoy their love puppy cake. =0

When the site first start crashing, I was unable to access any of the Sub Forums at all, however I took note of posts being updated from the main Forum index. Why was it that everyone else in the Spiral Community could Post, Read, and Reply to threads when I couldn't even look at what Luguiru had to say about Tommynoobsticks suggesting pets that help you in battle?
But in all seriousness, I can't look at my Guild Recruitment thread, though I can post in reply to any other Guild's Recruitment thread. Have a been declared Official Recruitment Threads Bumper by some member of the Spiral Order?

I got kicked going down to FSC d27; I knew some was doing Shadow Lair at the time. There was supposed to be a period of cheaper elevator price, but of course in true OOO fashion it's not the people affected that get to use it.

This is the product of getting cheap Web hosting, thus, this is the end result.
It's not like they don't have money now, Hurricane electric is Much closer, and Far more reliable.
It wouldn't Surprise me to find the servers later in some other part of the world.
I havent been able to access the website OR game in about 13 hours.
Edit: Im actually still unable to log on.. although it may be because EVERYONES logging on right now.
