Has there ever been a game with such little down time when updating or have technical difficulties? I'm going to stop being a meaners & STOP blaming all of my unhappiness on the Game Masters. Kitty's going to turn over a new leaf; not that big of a change tho but just enough to be a little more tolerable.

Dude, this downtime was unexpected... How can we put a official notice on the direct website when we can't get access into it?
Also, the domain seems to be with Amazon EC2, so it isn't Three Ring's fault.

A storm hit the power outages, and the domain goes down, so does the servers in SK.
For the record, Amazon EC2 (what SK is hosted on) also hosts other large things.
The north virginia servers were hit so hard they went down for hours. (The storm was bad, like trees falling over bad.)
Things like Netflix, instagram, pininterest and other big name services went down at the same time, some for even longer than SK was.
So, if you want to blame anyone, blame God. At least, that's where any costs would go for an insurance company (Act of God.)
This assumes that Amazon comps companies (including 3R), the insurance company would comp them.

So Mr. Kitty Softpaws, you probably shouldn't jump the gun so frequently, because after the details flesh out, you look very whimsical and easy to accuse. No one likes that.

Didn't you read the announcement? A storm crashed Amazon's EC2 servers.
I'm 4 hours south of the servers. And even we had power flickering from the same storm. Nothing on par with what they had though; I go to school in the general area where the storms hit and projected power outages for residential areas is upwards of a week, during a pretty bad heatwave on top of that.
So no, I see no reason to complain about servers being down for half a day, nor anyone to rightfully blame for such things.

Anyways, point is customer support is quick on their toes & makes us wait little to play. Some of us aren't seeing that; we've taken advantage of it & demand quicker downtime delays. This unexpected accident with the servers only lasted the same amount of down time other mmos give on a regular basis.
So?
It was a random crash due to a weather storm, that could have destroyed the servers physically and digitally.
What point are you trying to make? OOO couldn't do anything to fix it.
For example, let's say someone makes a game for Xbox. Microsoft's server shut down for some reason, but according to what you are saying, we need to blame the devs of the game and their support staff because a different company had the crash?

Same point(he blames it on the innocent, in this point GMs when it was the servers, which were ruined by the weather, created by the climate, created by the atmosphere, created buy the earth, created by matter, created via big bang, ect). But that doesn't make sence, GMs aren't the makers of this game.

As much as there is an european server, I would bet there is only one authentification server, and that one is in the USA. If the European server was a full-blown instance and was able to handle everything and the full load (that's unlikely), SK would have "simply" (hint : it's probably not as simple as it seems) switch to the European server.
What could we demand more ? That OOO actually have that sort of redundancy. But again, OOO is not a big company, so that probably wouldn't be reasonable.
