Hey guys,
Im looking for a bomb wich I can use to solo tier 2 + tier 2 arena/bosses.
What one is the best to go for?
edit: Also I got a grav bomb 4* atm, I like it, but its not the best. Should I just upgrade that one to 5*?

Gremlins and Flame Arenas.
I'm not sure how awesome Agni is, but Menders are a huge pain in the ass.

Blasting away
I like the blast bomb line for soloing tier 2, and I've done plenty of that successfully, in arenas and otherwise. The knockback clears a path to the mender, which I can then take out with a few sword swipes before going back to my bomb.
Fire, freeze, and poison are nice when you're with someone else, but aren't ideal for soloing. Fire does a lot of damage, but doesn't have knockback and can't be used in flamelash arenas. Freeze does little damage but holds the enemies still for someone else to hit them hard, hence being good when you have someone else with you. Poison weakens enemies temporarily but doesn't hurt them much on its own.
My Master Blast Bomb, by comparison, does about 100 damage to each enemy in its radius and knocks them all down so they temporarily can't follow you (allowing you to keep space between them and you while you charge the next bomb). I wouldn't solo as a pure bomber without a blast bomb in one slot.
Against the Tier 2 boss, poison is good, but you'll want a large radius because getting close to the RJ with a charged bomb is not easy. Fire is also nice and my Master Blast Bomb was useful in a party (I have bonus dmg vs. slimes) because it acts a bit like a shield, keeping the smaller minions away from the swordfighters who admittedly did much more damage to the boss than I did, but I just love bombing so as long as I was useful I was happy exploding slimes.
I'm not sure it's a good idea to go into the RJ solo as a pure bomber. A sword is the best way to do a lot of damage to a single enemy, which is what you need against the Royal Jelly. If I had to, I would take toxic atomizer, firey atomizer, and master blast bomb to try that solo as a pure bomber. The latter would be to push back minions and the first two would do the must damage against the RJ. Still, I think a bomber is better off in a party against the RJ (heck, everyone is better off in a party, but bombing in that crowded space, solo, is particularly suicidal).

Solo bombing tips
Using Fiery Atomizer or Ash of Agni, you can kite just about any monsters solo in Tier 2. It is just really slow. I was playing around checking to see how kiting gremlins in the second half of Tier 2 was using my Ash - it took 7 charges to kill the gremlins. Yawn. (Note: Gremlins are strong vs elemental, which is the damage type of the haze bomb line.)
It is a lot easier using a Master Blast Bomb or Nitro. For slime arenas you can just stand in the middle and charge over and over. By the time they reach you, the blast goes off. Bot/skelly/gremlin arenas are easier solo with a blast bomb than with a party. You just run around the edges, dropping a bomb every time it charges. The monsters either follow you and get knocked around, or hang out in a bunch in the middle. Healers cannot keep up with the shear damage and eventually die.
Beasts are kinda annoying, you have to do a lot of shielding and dodging when soloing just using bombs. This is where a Freezing Atomizer would come in handy since you can just hold everything in place until they die. Their bunching tendencies contributes to the ease of freezing them all together.
I have a Graviton 4* too, I never use it x_x I've heard it is a nice combo bombs - grav/freeze/grav/freeze/repeat... But that might require two bombers not one. Guess I should try solo to see if that is feasible.
Also, I couldn't tell from your post, do you want to solo bomb-only or is the bomb just a primary weapon with a sword as backup? (Or vice versa.)
Fire or Freeze, as long as you're using a sword/gun as well.
