Clockworks should drop more crowns (T3 Especially)

While running T2 Arenas I found that they are far more profitable than T3 Arenas, and T3 in general.

Vana is the most profitable activity ATM, so if people are to do anything else they should boost the crown drops in T3 so that people are gradually lured back into the clockworks.

Anyone agree?

i think you've got the right

i think you've got the right concept but gotten it partially backwards

Vana should have rewards reduced to about the same as regular T3 levels
T2 should have a cr output reduction so that T3 'DOES' give more, without the need to increase cr payouts anywhere

You might be in an odd stratum

The odd stratums (odd numbers, 1 3 and 5) are the first in a teir, and they give less cr than an even one. I'm pretty sure that t3 is more profitable atm... as for luring people into the clockworks, we could always introduce the cr access fees present in the clockworks for replays of missions.

Currently, vana allows to

Currently, vana allows to spend 50 mist and gain 100ce. This is unbalanced, because you both play to enjoy the game, and earn more than spent ( 2x ).
Instead, each run should give at most 25% of what was spent. So you play the game, enjoy it, and get part of what was spent, back.

You can't have your cake and eat it too.

If you want unlimited play, buy a pass.

And this is the real market equilibrium. The only things stopping CE to reach 30k+ are the OOO CE promotions.

This is the only "rebalancing" that should be done about cr/CE - with simple levels giving like 5%, and most difficult giving 25% in crowns of mist spent.
After this, leave the market time to stabilize ( i.e. no promotions for months )

Remember that, each and every time someone places a bid ( buying CE with crowns ) offer, it means that he feels it a good price to buy CE.
And, when CE rises and people keep buying, it means that they still think it is a good price to buy.

I don't understand why there is always all this fuss about CE price, crown payout and so on. Market is in the hand of the majority of players, and if the majority feels that CE should value more, then the market will rise, and it should be left free to do so - again, no external promotions.

If you want mobs to drop more

If you want mobs to drop more cr to be able to buy more ce, you are a short-sighted moron.

Proportionately upper tiers should have higher payouts than lower ones, such as a D16 arena giving less crowns for the full run than a D22 arena. What they should not do is dump more crowns into the payouts. Instead take from the lower tier which pays more and dump it in the upper tier which pays less. From personal experience this scenario tends to come up where an odd number stratum pays more than even. Alternatively remove crowns from the lower tier areas which pay more than upper. A new crown sink to flush the toilet would probably be easier on the community instead of taking candy from us constantly. It would get the load out of the bowl while creating new content, which might even bring back retired players.

I do agree with the concept

I do agree with the concept of moving the crown payouts elsewhere into the clockworks.

Take some crowns from Stratum 2 and move them to Stratum 3. Take some crowns from Stratum 4 and move them to Stratum 5. This has always confused me. Why does the first stratum of Tier 3 pay less than the second stratum of Tier 2, when it's obviously a bit more difficult? Why oh why oh why?

Shouldn't the payout rise as a reward for playing the more difficult portions? It's been that way in most any game I have played. Legion of Almire seems to follow this rule very well. It's incredibly difficult and, if you can get through without energy revives, will offer more profit than FSC.

Hurdur double crowns = double

Hurdur double crowns = double CE price. That can be scaled up or down. The difference in crowns in each strata should change. As in Strata 1 should be more like 2, strata 2 should be more like 1, etc. Boss stratas need to drop less crowns than they already do, other stratas need to be closer to boss stratas.

The main problem with CE is the fact that everyone just buys wahtever price is listed, then whines on the fourms. List your own price. You might get only 200 crowns off, but over time with a large population that will lower the price.
