Does anyone have even a general idea of when its happening? I might want to hold back on some purchases because some changes to certain equips might be significant.
Edit: If it was already posted, call me stupid.
Any ETA on the next patch?

I wouldn't say weekly... Most of the time every two weeks or so they release a bug fix or do some small tweaks. Also, almost 99% of the patches are launched on Wednesday early-afternoon. The ones that aren't are normally fixing major glitches of the previous patch.
Content releases are every 1.5 - 2 months, albeit they are slowing down a bit.

I rather like how the ETA is always "When it's done" because it means OOO can take time to make sure a patch only has a FEW bugs and issues, rather than being riddled with them. I like it when they take their time and I give them my support for doing updates the right way.
That and the fact they WARN us to major changed before they happen is commendable. It allows us all to prepare, instead of dropping a major game-changer on us. I do not regret spending any of the money I've put to OOO.

Personally, I love it when a patch has a couple of bugs. Nothing serious, just enough to cause a bugfix patch, then we get the new content AND half-price elevators.

I guess I'm used to slow patching. A certain online racing game that I play has a horrible patch schedule. How's one every 4 to 6 months sound? That sounds horrible to me, since even if they take that long on a patch it still comes with more bugs than we get here. Oh. And that game has a LARGER developer team than OOO. So I'm glad if it's one every two weeks for us. o.o

Yes, I'm sure this thing has been asked before. BUT it's always an interesting question. The next release will always be a mystery, whether it be promised material such as Guild Expansions, RSS/Magnus (and other wep) changes, etc. or sudden material such as promotions or new expansion missions (which, actually, had an introduction on Facebook). They usually release updates weekly (on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday), so we can expect something today or omorrow, but weeks have been skipped before. I'm waiting just like you are, money ready for something big (well not literally, but hey). Let's wait and see...
