I was playing with a group of friends and we decided to do a prestige mission. We finished said mission, but only one person got the prestige, that happened to be the one who started the mission and invited everyone into the mission.
I was wondering if that was a glitch, or do you have to go solo on prestige missions to get the prestige?

Note that if ye have done the

Note that if ye have done the Prestige Mission once, ye may not do it again by yerself. Prestige points is counted once per daily.

If ye still wish to join, ask the players who has not done Prestige Mission, however ye may not gain additional Prestige points.

definitely not solo

"do you have to go solo on prestige missions to get the prestige?"

You can definitely get prestige playing in a party. If your party members really didn't get prestige, then it's probably because either (A) they had already done the mission (as Thunderbog said) or (B) they joined the mission midway through (you have to do the entire mission, start to end).
