3-star gear.

I have a very important suggestion regarding 3-star gear. I mean all the 3-star gear. The swords, guns, bombs, helmets, armor, shields, everything.

Specifically, it needs to be made more powerful. It needs to be, in power, halfway between 2-star and 4-star power levels. It is too close to 2-star gear in terms of power.

I can't be the only one who feels this is true.

I am going to let you in on a secret.

Each of the three tiers wants you to use two star ranks: T1 with 0* and 1*, T2 with 2* and 3*, and T3 with 4* and 5*; they are not supposed to be constantly improving in terms of defenses. Each tier is also supposed to be double the difficulty of the previous tier: T1 is the base value, T2 is supposed to be twice as difficult as T1, and T3 is supposed to be twice as difficult as T2 which is also quadruple the difficulty of T1.

If you differentiate the weapon by only see the weapon bar. Then, you are wrong.

Whoa whoa, If T3 was 4X the diff of T1, it means 4X hardly any diff= not much diff

T3 is where 3-7 hits can kill you regardless of a 21 vita in SL and two penta heart pendants :3

Back on topic, 3* weapons are supposed to be a huge drop from 4* weapons. Changing it would mean making all monsters tougher in T2, making it much harder for 2*

Not really valid, the difference will become more apparent when you go to stratum four. HOWEVER I think that there's a problem with the way 4* isn't very different from 5* outside of certain mods on certain weapons. I think that such changes should be balanced so that such upgrades become less apparent on some weapons (like blitz needles and the DA) and more apparent on others (pretty much every gun ever). I also think that they should drop the upgrade price to be the same as upgrading to 4*.

T3 isn't exactaly 4x the difficulty. Plus SL's are kinda exceptons. It would make sense for the difficulty of the levels to raise more than the effectiveness of the gear, so that you would require more skill and more gear to win. Look at the damage numbers, you can compare those better. Hit something with a bolted blade in T1, then hit something with a levi in T3.

in terms of power and improvement, why not make blades like the shockburst, or any blade that can launch wave attack be able to launch their waves as the weapon itself levels up in heat. it doesn't make much sense that a newly made weapon not in damage wise but in terms of launching the waves can launch the same amount of waves that a level 10 heated weapon can.

it really doesn't feel like the weapon is actually leveling up besides the damage output.
