even the pepperbox guns do knockback
the idea of shooting goop that blows up is the same as making bombs something to be thrown. it would make things unbalanced.

Fix the Calibur! Its charge attacks act just like the Nitronome's charge attack so it's too bomb-like, only it can also hit some enemies several times sometimes and that makes it really overpowered.

and keep fixing things that aren't broken (like the bombie maze statues in LoA)
and break things that weren't broken while trying to fix unbroken things (like the blocked LoA key)
(seriously, I like that teams can pass the gate with fewer than 4 statues on the pressure switches, but why did you dopes put in the Ghost block backdoor if you didn't want us carrying statues outside the maze? Standard switch gates between the maze and the party buttons, remove the backdoor. Problem solved, nothing broken.)

This is as legitimate an idea as the reason for changing shard bombs they gave us.
