Today when playing through the game I encountered a Red colored prize box in with a group of green boxes. I whacked it open to find heat.
I wonder if they all contain heat, or if there is something else special about them.
Has anyone else seen one?

Haven't seen any thing worth while dropping from them yet, but in a related note I did get two chroma suit from box that had two layers.

I just got a Jelly Amulet
I just got a Jelly Band from a red chest. It just gives a little piercing defense but it's an trinket.

I got a chroma tear earring
I got a chroma tear earring or something, 4* . Not sure if it was a red or green one though.. But so far I haven't really noticed a difference between red or green ones?

Ditto to Magus.
The red boxes are strange... sometimes there's a box inside a box. ._.
I got a couple of Chroma Masks and a Virulisk Mask from said boxes. Otherwise, there's really nothing special about the red boxes. Maybe the devs are celebrating Christmas early?! :D

The only one I saw had a cooling cell in it. Mendellas apparently saw a purple box; there was nothing special in it, either.

I opened a green box and a red box came out of it. I opened the red box and got a chroma tear earring. It gives 25 poison resistance and -25 freeze resistance.

I got the same earring as you kojiden, but from a green box. I still haven't noticed a clear difference between red or green ones.

Mm and I was thinking earlier.. you know those set of boxes you can get that come along with a set of monsters? Those monsters actually give better loot/heat/money than those boxes in most cases lol it's a bit pitiful I think, since it's supposed to be "treasure" afterall.
