Ok I am wondering If I have Gran Faust and I buy an armor that is resistent to curse would it lower the chances of me getting curse if I do the charge attack?

Wearing a full set of
Wearing a full set of curseresist armour roughly halves the time it lasts, and only curses one weapon. Dont think it decreases the chance of getting it.

Would a UV help decrease the chance of getting cursed because I am not sure, I have never seen it.

I use it in that one Jelly
I use it in that one Jelly Farm level where I can get like 25 slimes on me at once.

its ok to use gf charge
but

but reminder that it depends on luck whether getting cursed or not after using gf charge attack
therefore, dukeplatypus wins
I think it just lowers the amount of time the curse lasts.
