As of now, shallow(as oppose to full) Inspecting a knight who is wearing costume armor will show what they're really wearing underneath. Please change it so that shallow inspection respects costume armor choices. It honestly feels like an oversight.

What's the purpose of hiding your real armor? I thought that was the point of inspect - to know what the 'level' of the other player happens to be.

If you want to hide your armour, thats fine and dandy. Just don't expect others to invite you based on your costume gear. Others probably don't like to invite random people, and probably would never do it if people hid their actual armour behind a costume so others can't see what they really have.

I think giving someone the ability to hide their stuff is stupid, Full Inspect should ALWAYS be on, just like in other MMO's.

Honestly, I can't think of any con to this.

CLEARLY it is because they

CLEARLY it is because they don't want you to have a tactical advantage over them in PvP...

Oh.

Wait...

Jokes aside, I'd be happy with two very tiny but important changes to the inspection system:

Make it DEFAULT to Allow Full unless specifically changed, and have a button you can click to toggle between displaying actual armor and costume armor, because sometimes you want to know what the person is actually using, and sometimes you just want a larger, clearer, rotatable view of their displayed armor.
