Anyone tried these games? They're developed by MediaVision and published by Square Enix, who owns MediaVision.

Chaos Rings is the original, Chaos Rings Ω is the prequel, and although it sounds like it's a sequel, Chaos Rings II is actually a spin-off with a different setting.

They are pretty good, I swear.

http://www.chaosrings.com/ is the official website. Compared to other JRPGs on the app store, even those published by SE themselves, Chaos Rings has a unique science-fiction setting and and an exciting gameplay mechanic.

In the first game, you have Escher&Musiea or Eluca&Zhamo (easy mode), and then you can unlock Ayuta&Mana or Olgar&Vahti (hard mode). And when I say hard mode, I mean hard mode. At least compared to Escher and Musiea's story.

Discuss.

I'm looking at reviving this thread from its stagnant state. I've rewritten the OP for more information and have a question for those who have played the game:

What is your favorite of all three games? I personally prefer the original, with the unique story and the four different plot lines. Omega was too short, and 2's plot was a little big trite compared to the Ark Arena.

Games...

Only start at the language of japanesse. So it could hit it to America. Take Professor Layton as an example. It was meant to be in the japanese version, but it came to America and it was in english
