I'm sort of an odd ball when it comes to loadouts, but here's what I use:

5* Royal Jelly Crown with low shadow resist UV
5* Royal Jelly Armor with low stun, curse and piercing resist UV
5* Royal Jelly Shield with low elemental defense UV

5* Leviathan Blade w/ Med bonus v. Gremlin UV
5* Final Flourish w/ Low bonus v. Undead & Fiend UV
5* Valiance w/ Med bonus v. Gremlin UV
5* Nitronome w/ bonus v. Gremlin UV

Trinket Slots:

5* Med Damage Bonus: Sword
5* Dread Skelly Charm

I don't really have a preferred loadout, I just have a preferred set of weapons that I pick from depending on the strata.

Armor:
- Wolver Stuff (Vog + Stun Ultra overall, Skolver + Stun high overall, Snarby)
- Shadowsun/Nameless
Shield:
- Swiftstrike
- Barbarous Thorn Shield
- Crest of Almire
Swords:
- Final Flourish (+dam vs Beast med)
- Glacius (CTR low)
- Acheron (ASI high, +dam vs Gremlin med)
Guns:
- Argent Peacemaker
- Sentenza
- Nova Driver
- Callahan
- Blitz Needle
Bombs:
- Shivermist Buster
- Voltaic Tempest

I don't have a one size fits

I don't have a one size fits all kind of set but I do have a typical outline for weapons. which is 1 light sword 1 heavy sword 1 gun and 1 mist bomb with elite bomb focus and elite sword focus modules. or I'll drop it and go for 2 guns. 1 light and 1 heavy. which is more often than not a Driver paired with a special gun like Callahan, ArgentP/Sentenza, Polaris or Blitz Needle. I do have specific loadouts for Slimes, Fiends, and Candlestick keeps.

One of my many outfits.

I match my loadout to the level, though here is the loadout i am working on getting (so close, just a helm and some trinkets away)

5* Mercurial Demo Helm (currently a heavy demo helm with fire med normal low)
5* Snarby Coat (Max fire, Max shock, you jelly?)

5* Barbarous Thorn Shield (normal low)

5* Elite boom focus module (just mod calibrators away)
5* Elite bomb focus module (see above)

5* Rocket Warhammer (jelly damage bonus low)
5* Gran Faust (asi low)
5* Barbarous Thorn Blade
5* Nitrome

I will get bomb CTR vh, bomb damage high, sword damage very high, movement speed increase low, and all i need are medium ctr uvs on bombs to get ctr max.

I wear whatever the poop I want to wear.

I usually wear either Sword armor or Gunner Armor and 2 swords and 2 guns. (Or a gun and a bomb.) I usually just carry two different damage types with me depending on the room.

Example 1: Beast/Jelly Killer

Helmet: Snarby Cap
Armor: Skolver Coat
Weapon 1: Plague Needle
Weapon 2: Final Toothpick
Weapon 3: Gran Faust
Weapon 4: Umbra Driver
Shield: Barbarous Thorn Shield

Example 2: Undead/Fiend Killer

Helmet: Shadowsun Stetson
Armor: Shadowsun Bedsheet.
Weapon 1: Spammathon Hammer
Weapon 2: Spammathon Flourish
Weapon 3: Plague needle
Weapon 4: Prolaris.
Shield: Swift Strike Buckler.

-Vog cub(cap and coat)
-Combuster
-Archeron
-Electron vortex
-Supernova/Polaris
(all is 5*)
I do not have it but this one may be the best.
