This has probably been suggested before but I would do quite a bit to change from light blue to orange. So please allow color changes, maybe even for a small energy fee.

I can see paying CE for color changes but none of that time limit stuff. I feel like changing your color should be like getting a tattoo: expensive and permanent until you pay to change it again.

yeah ufna I don't like that idea at all, sounds like something a certain greedy game company would try and pull. I think 25-50CE for a permanent change would be fair. If you were talking about changing the macro color of armor sets I don't think that would work as many sets are recolored already.

I'd really love a color change option, and I know everyone else would too. Some sets just look horrible with some colors since they have a static color in them (Gunslinger Sash for example) and a player color change by choice would let us remedy that ourselves.
It gives no advantage like weapon slots or trinket slots so it shouldn't be expensive, and just having it permanent would be nice and makes more sense as well.

At least I think it would be a good solution. Everyone could get the "color module" or whatever you call it for the color he chose, like starting equipment. And buy new ones, maybe the fist one cheap with a cumulative increment for each one following. I like the idea of having an alternate to avoid team coordination fails due to 2 ppl with the same color but very different "jobs" in the team.

This has been suggested a million times since the game went live. I just did a search for "Personal color change" and got 3 pages of results, most of which were the exact same "I want to be able change my color freely!"
Edit: Doing a search of "Color change" brought up 10 pages of results. The first three pages were pretty much the same thread over and over again (posted by different people). The remaining pages did get a bit off the subject of color change, but the fact still stands that there are three pages filled with this thread. That's a minimum of 30 threads discussing this.
This thread has my thoughts on the matter.

Or just introduce look / color changing trinkets. Those trinkets available in the game are mostly useless anyways -.-
