If someone has broken the rules, the absolute best thing to do is to submit a complaint in-game immediately, by typing /complain (name of player who has broken the rules). This sends us a copy of your recent (unalterable serverside) chatlog, showing what's been said, which is by far the most useful thing we can have in terms of determining what happened (screenshots are photoshoppable - a case of the dishonorable few making life more difficult for the rest of us, unfortunately). We never guarantee a refund, but it's been known to happen when we've been able to confirm a scam and the money/items have been recoverable.

Just for future reference. No items cost 3k unbind (unless it was more than one item then nevermind). Otherwise unbind for 4 star is 1800ce and 5 star is 4000ce.

Thanks for not blurring his name so now I can forever troll him, But Here's a pro-tip, Don't buy it from him unless you really know this guy well, And It Takes 100 ce for 1 star gear, 200 for 2 star gear, 600 for 3 star gear, 1600-1800 (I forget and am to lazy to see) for 4 star gear, 4000 for 5 star gear. So if he says he needs 3000 for unbind, your getting jipped.

As everybody said, dont do the trade unless you know the person, have heard about them, or you have the guarantee of one or more of their satisfyed clients. For the future.

All energy transactions are logged, that includeds elevators, crafting, revives and most significantly player trades - so if a trade took place it is recorded. Notice that the screenshot is not evidence at all, as no trade has taken place yet..
What was the star rating of the item and just to be absolutly clear, did you not get anything in return, or if you did are you dissatisfied with the cost? I can't help but notice that the screenshot displays a tier 2 player intending to spend most of his wealth on a gear trade, which seems odd to me but then again what you spend your money on is nobodies bussiness but your own.
I gotta keep an eye on this thread -_-

All you can do is hope. The energy trade will be logged on both accounts. If you have a screenshot of the agreement that will help. Otherwise hopefully GMs can check logs. And if so hopefully that sad excuse of a 5 star player finds himself permabanned.

It made me even MORE suspicious that he charged 3k instead of 4k. I THOUGHT that I would be able to get my CE back, if it was a scam, due to the fact I took screenshots of the trade, but apparently screenies don't mean a thing.
I PAID GOOD MONEY FOR THAT CE OOO!

@ Spiralviperr, as Exerpa said, all ce trades are recorded. I suggest you provide a screeshot of that ce log as evidence. PM me if you wish.
As Exerpa pointed out, the accused is in our guild, and I am the GM of said guild. I'm not taking sides, but I would need further evidence before I could determined what actually happened. If it is proven, that he actually did scammed your 3000ce, I am happy to reimburse you the 3000ce. But not until I have seen the screenshot I requested. Feel free to either contact me or Exerpa if you wish this to remain confidential.

A picture of the trade window with my guild member taking your 3k CE isn't enough.
Our guild needs a picture of your driver's license and credit card complete with security code as well as the keys to your car and your mother's maiden name in order to prove that you are in fact, gullible.

I think Three Rings would benefit if their screenshots would put a time stamp on it like other games do. Or would the time stamp be defective since their coding uses our computers time to tell when we go idle and not an actual server time?
