Vog cub vs Skolver

So I really like the extra dmg and imho skolver looks much better. I also understand the vog cub is good because the last boss is fire and it has fire res on it.
witch one should I make. I am leaning twords skolver just because how cool it look compared to vog.

Plan to eventually get both.
Plan to eventually get both. The question is which to get first. Certainly, for boss runs, you'll want Vog Cub - but there's nothing saying you can't take Skolver to begin with, then build up a set of Vog Cub, then run the big guy. The damage bonus on Skolver does more for your raw DPS than the attack speed bonus on the Vog Cub. On the flip side, the extra swing speed of the Vog Cub can give you a tactical edge that is hard to quantify, but very real in terms of how quickly you can interrupt the enemy, or swing-and-then-shield, or whatever. It reduces the size of the windows in which you are vulnerable.

On the flip side
on the other side of things that fire res i dont think is a must have to fight him. that would be like saying you need the defender shield to do royal jelly.

you say that,
but have you ever seen how much fire there is in the citadel? you die 2 hits in there for the most part, but maybe 3 with a vog.
skolver for looks.
I'd recommend getting both, if you don't want to do that however, really only you can decide which you'd prefer.
vog is a large help for firestorm, but I agree in skolvers looks.
