Chapter 1: You are not Alone

After he ended his transmission, Rick walks deeper into the forest, looking for more survivor. He almost give up after he ended his transmission because he never see any survivor. But Rick thinks that he can find any survivor in the forest. He has walked for hours and hours, but he still not giving up. Many monsters came in his path, but they we're easily defeated by Rick's Argent Peacemaker.

When Rick is walking, he saw a creature that are dark and looks strong. He know what it is. Snarbolax. Rick really hates Snarbolax because his squad friend got killed by Snarbolax when he was still a Squire. Rick got overwhelmed when he attacks the Snarbolax, but is extremely easy when got stunned. After the Snarby got enough damage, Rick charge his Argent Peacemaker and shoot it at the Snarby. At last, the Snarbolax got defeated, again.

After that, Rick proceed to the forest. He saw something that looks like a bunker. There are many Soldier in the bunker, almost all of them wears the Cobalt set, Calibur and Brandish, and a Blaster. Rick is very happy to because there are still more survivor. Then, Rick walk into the entrance of the bunker. Rick is really suprised when he see his Soldier friend, Sam. "Hey, Sam!" Rick shouted. Sam hear Rick then shouted back. Sam then opened the gate and let Rick in. Inside the bunker, Sam opened the command room. When Rick got in, he saw Lieutenant Feron.

"Sir, there are a Vanguard outside, so I let him in." said Sam.
"Where is the Vanguard?" said Feron.
"Here, sir." said Rick.
"You are very lucky to survive the battle." said Feron.
"I know that, sir." said Rick.
"You have to know that you are the only Vanguard in this bunker." said Feron.
"I know that too, sir." said Rick.
"You can stay here as long as you want." said Feron.
"Thank you, sir." said Rick, happily.
"Sam, show this Vanguard his room." said Feron.
"Roger." said Sam.

Before Sam and Rick leave, Feron asked a question to Rick.

"What's your name?"
"Rick, sir."
