shadow

You have a piercing sword and an elemental sword. The obvious omission is a shadow sword. My opinion on those is here.

Normal swords are for people who carry only one sword at a time --- and even then it's probably better to get non-normal swords. If you are using two or more swords at a time, then none of them should be normal. In particular, the Cutter-line swords have a lot of difficulty on Tier 3. So, no, I don't recommend getting Vile Striker.

I have a Dread Venom Striker,

I have a Dread Venom Striker, but I only use it in a few situations, mainly on JK and Vana's mask phase. I wouldn't worry about getting one until you have a full set like Bopp suggests first.

If you're getting your first

If you're getting your first swords, I would take the advice above. Focus on the swords with the most utility. But if you have all that you need and now are just trying to get more stuff, go for it! It's a fun sword. That was my approach when getting all my bombs: useful first, then when I'm done with that, get the rest of the collection.

well...........

i have a 4* hunting blade and it does the same base damage as the vile strike but does more damage on beasts. the vile striker has poison which is also good. In my opinion you can have 2 blades like i am thinking of. a wild hunting blade and the Dread venom striker. the WHB has cooler graphical charge attack than the DVS.

these blades are the fastest blades in the game and has less damage output so an addition of poison is better as it does extra damage to the enemy.

Conclusion: the DVS (dread venom striker 5* ) is better so choose the vile striker.

At first I only crafted it

At first I only crafted it for the Royal Jelly fight, but between getting Faust and the big nerf it got, it's no longer a huge necessity. However, I still find it pretty useful against many bosses regardless. It's one of the rare weapons that has STRONG poison, despite the low rate of occurrence, and it's far better than hunting blade. However, against large mobs, you'd be better off with Biohazard or Venom Veiler.

Personally I find it a great weapon against most of Vanaduke's phases (all but the last)

Also, for the record, I don't recommend using three (or four) swords at once. It leaves you open to ranged attacks. Despite Divine Avenger's charge, it doesn't linger like a bomb and it doesn't have the range or speed of a gun.

Right now, I only use my

Right now, I only use my Dread Venom Striker in IMF, as a missile-cleaving weapon. This may change once I test out the hammer there.

If you don't have a pierce sword, the Striker is a suitable alternative for fiends. You can simply swing wildly and prevent greavers from attacking. It's also fairly effective against devilites, as long as you're using your mobility to dodge projectiles when needed.

I would still suggest you get a pierce sword. They have a much better hitbox than cutter lines, and also have a higher damage-per-hit so you can shield more while still doing good damage.
