Do you find party finder useful? I wonder how often you use it and it actually helps you finding party instead of being source of dissapoitment.

For me, no matter how much time i checked it, it alawys shows up some crappy parties at deptsh 1-8, barely anything above 13.

Meh

I sometimes use it to find mission parties, but other than that I could continue playing Spiral Knights completely unhindered if the party finder vanished.

Sometimes

Right now I'm at the stage where it's RJP day in and day out (I need 4* gear), so it's not that useful, but I can see the benefits if, say, you were dreading trying to solo a certain mission and wanted to wait for someone to help for revives. 5-1 Whipping and Mishandling comes to mind.

Also, Legions of Almire. :D

Never used it at all. I highly dislike PUGs.

Very Useful.

Let's you find party's you won't have to wait for, makes it possible to find OCH parties.

I normally play with my friends, but when no ones around, the party finder is great.

I use it to find LoA parties when I have no one competent online.

It also shows parties at similar rank level. So I assume you have barely done anything with the mission system if you're finding parties in T1.

There is a party finder? In

There is a party finder? In all seriousness though I never open it. Like a previous poster I highly dislike PUGs and either am solo, with guildees/friends, or helping somebody that was looking for a group in Haven. I can see it having its uses. But it is nothing I personally have a use for.

When the party finder first

When the party finder first came out I thought it was great. People that actually knew how to play SK were playing in FSC pugs. So when I had nothing to do I could get a nice FSC run. Now the FSC pugs are filled with scrubs that cry for shivermist because they need to nerf down the game play even more then what it already is just so they can stand a chance of living. I joined 4 FSC pugs today and left them all before they even started. The final party I left had a guy with 450 prestige and his only weapons were Shivermist and Blitz Needle.

I have now lost hope of finding a good FSC party when my friends aren't on to play and I feel like a FSC run.

I'll make this pleasant.. No.

I'll make this pleasant.. No. Why? Because guilds these days are overrated and aren't what they use to be. I have left many "good" guilds and found only playing with my friends much more rewarding.

I pug almost all the time, no

I pug almost all the time, no offense to my guild. The randomness of the pug is what amuses me. At a first glance, it doesn't give you any bonus, since if there is a party for that tier/mission, you could simply just join a random on the tier/mission. But the party finder gives you the option of joining different parties on the same floor/mission. And so you can join that party with 3, instead of waiting around with 1 other person, hoping people join.

I find it great for basil

I find it great for basil runs. Getting in at depth 11/ 21 so you save 20 mist is pretty good (but Basil still hates me...)
Finding t3 parties is rarer, but I usually find t2 ones when i see 'em
Otherwise, joining stuff like FSC, you really don't need it, just go for the "Join Party" option.

@ Wodanct: Yeah finding a good guild can be tough, but it is what you make out of it.
@Demonicsothe: Yup PUGs can be quite interesting. Until you get that one guy who likes to play hero when lag kills you. And doesn't revive you. And returns to haven with all his pills. =_=

YES

Party Finder makes it easy for me to determine which missions I can do. It allows me to grind with good people a lot faster.

Yeah I see a lot of people use it for Basil runs, sometimes I leave it open when doing one and it fills up quickly the moment I get to 21.
I've done that a few times as well.

Yes, incredibly. Sure,

Yes, incredibly. Sure, sometimes it's hard to find a higher level party, but that's not due to the feature and can't be blamed for it. I really don't mind PUGs. Usually it's pretty quiet with just a /hi and then silence, sometimes they're genuinely pleasant. On the rare occasion that there's a problem, I just go solo/get kicked. No skin off my back. Sure, my guild and friends are nice, but they're usually off doing FSC/LoA/their own thing. I'm really the only reasonably active recipe-runner I know left nowadays.
