Seriously now. As I said, grow up some more and stop posting for a while and leave us alone.

What you should have done when you made that question thread (seriously, why would you name it "Soarel spam"? That's just asking for trouble) was continue to make good threads while ignoring the hate. Instead you gave haters your full attention by making your other threads (you're not gonna gain much sympathy by making threads to elicit sympathy, it's the internet, dude). And then you made this thread, which probably won't help you in any way.

To any who are curious, I believe Xylka claims to be 15, which he/she stated in the "Is Spiral Knights cute?" thread. I say "claims" cuz, well, it's the internet.

There's a good kind 15 yr olds, who act like 20 yr olds, and the bad kind that act like 10 yr olds.

Anyway pulling out your age doesn't reinforce any argument against something that you make, so don't try that. Especially if people call you a 10 yr old.
As for me, I couldn't care less if you're 30 and developing games like OOO. I classify things as Physical Age, and Mental Age.

Physical Age is how old you are relative to when you were born. This has an effect on your Mental Age, but doesn't really matter much in my eyes.

Mental Age is how experienced you are with your surroundings, and how tactful you are in situations. Basically how old you act, which is more important that how old you are. Immaturity vs Maturity. Experience and Understanding vs Stupidity and Misunderstanding. This is affected more by what you have experienced or how you've interacted with other people, whether on the internet or in real life. The more tactful and experienced you are, the older your Mental Age would be

So TL;DR if you act immature, you will be called immature and a 10 year old. Think before you post, and if you do post, at least try to make it meaningful to whats going on, and won't make anyone angry, annoyed or upset. Good grammar helps.

Batter? I usually see then on large open fields in the summer. Try throwing a curveball into the mix and stir in a pitcher, umpire, and 2 teams. Hopefully it turns out delectable!

I want you to read this thoroughly, but take it as I am writing it. Picture a friendly tone, but a disappointed tone...

Friend, these people on the forums are genuinely nice people. Seerusly. I mean, have you looked at the Treasure Vault during your time on SK - it is most likely my absolute favorite section in this entire forum. These people support each other, accept criticism, rage about one another in a very genial manner...you get the point.

However, there are times when newer members in the community come around that happen to be quite similar to previous members that irked us. At this point, many forumers have lost their paitence with questions, focused opinions, and what they consider "trolling".

That can bring out the beast in anybody...these people (because they are people, not just names with avatars) truly do want to help you. However, we've faced so much craziness in the past that they are just getting exasperated. Although they have a very good sense of things, they often lose their tact in an effort to get their anger across to you in a reply. That is an issue on their part.

But, there is still steps you need to take to learn how to be a better forumer, things I learned a long time ago - and trust me, I'm not the one answer to everything, even though I wish I was - when I was at my lowest. I did many things that I regret. I'm a very smart teenager, I'd like to think, and I know I was a smart child when I did those things, the same way I feel you're a smart guy gone astray.

Here's some general forum rules that aren't official, but are things I've found out from this past year of SK:

1. People on forums are very strongly worded people. They have opinions - it's why their on the forums - and aren't afraid to share them. Think about the response you'll get before you post, because on a forum like SK that type of consideration is essential.

2. If you have a SK suggestion, even if you think it's good and clear, talk about it with a close friend in-game or out-of-game. Get a second opinion on these types of things. If I had done this, I wouldn't have made this post: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/24628. Xylka is my rl best friend (no joke), and if I had only mentioned this to him earlier, maybe I wouldn't have posted it. No one else seemed to care anyways!

3. Do whatever procedures you do to double check to make sure what you are saying is what you really want to say. Self explanitory.

4. Don't forget to post on a thread you made to respond to the people that you are discussing with. NEVER make another thread to respond with, as it makes you seem as if you are hiding behind things and not changing the way you are doing things at all. ALWAYS post on your own threads...if you don't, you shouldn't expect people to be nice to you if they don't get to see who you truly are or that you are making a change in your habits.

Those are my rules...I hope that you at least take the time to read them, as I know I did after typing this for an hour. : P You seem to be a good person, but you are remaining behind this very naïve barrier that is only going to hit you suddenly one day. Take it from someone who had their naivety stripped away by their own doing, and take the advice these people are trying to give you.

But, if you want a summary, then what I'm saying is that Soarel needs to learn to take advice when given, and we as forumers need to be good examples as well. ^_^
